West Ham United Plot Summer Swoop for Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma

    [ad_1]

West Ham United are reportedly plotting a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma, as they look to bolster their midfield options ahead of the new season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness, the 28-year-old Malian international is on West Ham’s radar, with the Hammers eyeing a deal in the €15–20 million range — the fee Spurs are said to be demanding.

    A New Chapter for Bissouma?

Bissouma arrived at Tottenham in 2022 from Brighton with high expectations but has endured a mixed spell in North London. While he’s racked up over 100 appearances, consistency has eluded him, and Spurs are now reportedly open to parting ways. Juventus have also shown interest in recent months, but their pursuit appears to have cooled — opening the door for West Ham to make their move.

    Why West Ham Want Him

West Ham are in the market for a midfield enforcer following Carlos Soler’s underwhelming loan stint and amid uncertainty surrounding the futures of Edson Alvarez, Tomas Soucek, and James Ward-Prowse. Bissouma, with his proven Premier League experience and ball-winning abilities, ticks many boxes for the East London outfit.

What makes the move even more appealing is Bissouma’s familiarity with London life and the English top flight. The transition would likely be smooth, which is crucial for a West Ham side aiming to make a stronger push in the league next season under Julen Lopetegui.

A Smart Deal on the Table?

Tottenham’s reasonable asking price makes Bissouma an attractive option. At €15–20 million, he could represent excellent value for a club like West Ham looking to strengthen without breaking the bank.

With transfer dominoes beginning to fall across the Premier League, this is one potential London switch that could gather momentum quickly. Keep an eye on this one — Bissouma to the Hammers might just make perfect sense for all parties involved.

  • Will Liverpool be signing Rodrygo this summer?

    [ad_1]

Chelsea, Arsenal, LIVERPOOL and Tottenham target Rodrygo Goes has already set his first condition to leave Real Madrid this summer: an annual salary of 12 million euros is wanted according to Fichajes

Rodrygo scored 13 goals and provided over 10 assists in over 50 appearances last season, but Tension has been building between the Brazilian and Real with the winger unhappy with his role in the team with his relationship with his teammates deteriorating significantly.

The former Santos starlet, who joined Real for €45million in 2018, is ‘angry’ with his diminished role and it has been claimed that he would be open to leaving the Spaniards over the next few months, with reports suggesting that he believes he has played his last game for Real.

According to recent reports, Madrid could be willing to part ways with the Brazilian forward if a substantial offer arrives. The ultimate decision, however, will rest with both Rodrygo and new head coach Xabi Alonso.

However, It was claimed Real will be demanding a fee of €100million (£87m) for the player, and now Rodrygo will be looking for an annual fee of around 12 million euros to make the move away from Madrid and join that next club.

    icfootballnews says…

Rodrygo has been world class for a few seasons, he is playing at Real and scoring the goals that big time players should be scoring, but his time at the club is probably coming to the end as the Spaniards look to keep on improving the side.

LIVERPOOL have done some great business already this transfer window, are looking at a few more deals, so adding Rodrygo to the side would be an immediate replacement for Luis Diaz.

His wages may be an issue though.

  • Rasmus Hojlund plan in place as Sesko deal nears completion – Man United News And Transfer News

Rasmus Hojlund plan in place as Sesko deal nears completion – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Rasmus Hojlund seems to be hitting form for Manchester United at the right time, with the club currently trying to recruit another striker.

Last season, the Dane looked lost up top, and managed a meagre four Premier League goals all campaign. And with the lack of options at hand, Ruben Amorim was forced to keep playing him.

Apart from his struggles in front of goal, the 22-year-old failed to impress with his back-to-goal play and all signs pointed towards a summer exit.

But he started strongly against West Ham in pre-season, before finding the back of the net against Bournemouth on Thursday. As a result, INEOS have not yet asked him to leave, with the Denmark international keen to fight for his place.

    Sesko incoming

After missing out on several targets, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko has been identified as the go-to option in the market thanks to Christopher Vivell’s insistence, even though the head coach would have liked Ollie Watkins.

Should the Slovenian arrive, in all likelihood the ex-Atalanta ace was expected to depart with reports of a swap deal gaining traction.

But The Sun have a different tale to tell. They have claimed that Amorim wants the United No.9 to stay and feels Sesko’s arrival will only aid him to improve.

“But Amorim also believes that the presence of Sesko will prove the spur Rasmus Hojlund requires to overcome his doubts and mature into a top class alternative.

“Amorim is understood to feel the lack of competition up front that Hojlund faced contributed to what the Dane admits was a “tough” season.

Amorim feels Rasmus Hojlund will benefit as a result

“Knowing he has to fight for game time against Sesko will force Hojlund out of his comfort zone and benefit both the former Atalanta striker and United.

“It is why the manager would prefer Hojlund to stay at the club, rather than leaving – although the Dane will be given the right to make his own decisions on his future.”

The added competition will spur him on to greater heights is the head coach’s thinking. Whether that will prove to be the case only time will tell.

A lot will depend on Leipzig’s final asking price and whether United can afford Sesko without resorting to selling the Danish ace.

  • West Ham weighing up move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz

West Ham weighing up move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz

    [ad_1]

West Ham United are reportedly pushing hard to sign Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport via TuttoJuve.

The Brazilian international previously enjoyed an impressive five-year spell in the Premier League with Aston Villa, having joined from Manchester City in 2019. Luiz made 204 appearances for Villa, registering 46 goal contributions and playing a pivotal role in their qualification for the UEFA Champions League—a first for the club in over 40 years.

However, after his move to Juventus, things haven’t gone as planned. The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under both Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor, sparking speculation over an early exit from Turin. A return to England now looks increasingly likely.

According to the report, West Ham are “determined” to bring Luiz back to the Premier League. New manager Graham Potter is said to be a strong admirer of the midfielder and believes Luiz could be a key figure in his rebuild at the London Stadium.

The Hammers are in active negotiations with Juventus, who are open to a sale. The proposed deal would include an initial loan with an £8 million fee, followed by a mandatory buy clause worth between £21–25 million based on certain performance-related conditions.

Douglas Luiz is reportedly open to the move, with the promise of regular first-team football and a leadership role at West Ham seen as highly attractive.

Why Douglas Luiz Is a Perfect Fit for West Ham

Luiz brings a mix of technical quality and steel to midfield—ranking highly across key metrics such as tackles, interceptions, progressive passes, chance creation, and high turnovers during his previous Premier League tenure.

Following a disappointing campaign last season, West Ham need midfield reinforcements who can lead by example. Luiz offers not just experience and ball-winning ability, but also the mentality and presence to galvanise a squad that struggled for identity and consistency.

If the deal is completed, Douglas Luiz could be exactly the kind of signing West Ham need to spark a new era under Graham Potter.

  • Chelsea transfer news: Petrovic – Eze

    [ad_1]

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Eberechi Eze, Djorde Petrovic and Joao Felix that we think you guys may have missed..

There has been some stunning reports in the media which have claimed CHELSEA have held talks with Eberechi Eze’s agent over a possible move to Stamford Bridge, as they seek to hijack Arsenal’s potential move for the attacker.

Arsenal have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few weeks – there has been alot of players linked with a move to the Emirates – and Eze is a player that the Gunners reportedly wants.

After an impressive season for Crystal Palace last year – Eze has been attracting all sorts of interest from the Premier Leagues biggest clubs and there is surely a big battle brewing over the next few weeks – but it seems that the London clubs have the edge in the chase.

Now Simon Phillips has reported on his Substack that CHELSEA have held new talks with the midfielder’s agent. Eze has been linked with a move to Arsenal recently but a move to north London hasn’t materialised yet.

Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed that he would be surprised to see Eze at Palace next season – he told icfootballnews: ‘I would be very surprised to still see Eze at Palace for next season.

“Michael Olise has already moved onto Bayern Munich, so that will have addressed any financial concerns the club may have had and the funds raised from his sale has helped the club bring in some new faces, but Eze now has a taste for the very top of the game.

“Arsenal are the latest side to join the race for Eze – but Eze is a London boy and would love to stay in the Capital rather than move up to the likes of Manchester United

“I think he’s definitely good enough to play for one of the bigger clubs in the league, and i believe he could break into that starting side at the Emirates or Stamford Bridge.’

    PETROVIC LEAVES CHELSEA

Chelsea have now announced on the club website that Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has joined AFC Bournemouth on a permanent transfer.

CHELSEA have been splashing the cash alot over the past few months and have already spent close to £150 million on new players, as they seek to close the gap on Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool before the start of next season.

    GETTY IMAGES

However – there are also a number of players at Stamford Bridge that are probably no longer needed at the club, and that means there will be opportunities for players like Petrovic, who have not made much of an impact at Stamford Bridge.

Newly promoted Sunderland are among the clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old this summer, who was one of the standout performers in Ligue 1 last season during his loan spell with Strasbourg, but the Cherries made their move to get a deal done and now he has left Cheslea.

The Blues posted on the club website: ‘Petrovic joined Chelsea from New England Revolution in the summer of 2023 and the Serbia international made 31 appearances in his first season with the Blues.

‘The 25-year-old spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at RC Strasbourg, where he made 31 appearances for the French club.

‘We want to thank Djordje for his efforts in blue and wish him well for the future.’

Andoni Iraola’s side had Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea last season, making 31 appearances in the Premier League, but he’s sealed a permanent move to Arsenal this summer, leaving the Cherries on the hunt for a new goalkeeper

    IcFootballnews Says…

This move to CHELSEA was never really going to work out for the player, it has been a waste of a few years of his career, he has taken a massive step back from where he was at before he joined the Blues.

This is a good move to make as Bournemouth are a very good side.

    JOAO FELIX TO LEAVE

It has now been claimed that CHELSEA will open talks for the sale of Joao Felix, with reports in the media suggesting that Benfica are very keen to take him back to Portuguese football.

The Evening Standard states Chelsea are preparing to kick off their summer clearout, with Joao Felix in talks over a possible return to Benfica. Felix is not in Chelsea’s long-term plans, with the club’s hierarchy keen to offload his high wages and pursue a permanent sale rather than another loan spell.

The 25-year-old is a target for Benfica, where he started his senior career. He is eager to reunite with former Wolves manager Bruno Lage, who is now back in charge at the Estadio da Luz.

Lage previously played a key role in Felix’s development, managing Benfica B and later coaching the first team during the early stages of the forward’s senior career.

    IcFootballnews View…

It was a massive shock to see CHELSEA make the move to bring Felix back to the Premier League, he was not a success first timer around and has been just as bad this time around, the January window was an opportunity for the player to leave and get the minutes that he wants and needed.

He is a quality player that adds so much to the side, but with all the attacking options that Enzo Maresca now has at the club, there is no need to keep Felix on the books and letting him go is the right decision.

This move away makes sense as he is far too good a player to be sitting on the bench, and a move back to his homeland could help reignite the career of a player that was once tipped to become one of the very best.

  • Tyler Fredricson’s pre-season to have huge impact on his future – Man United News And Transfer News

Tyler Fredricson’s pre-season to have huge impact on his future – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United defender Tyler Fredricson has everything to play for on the club’s pre-season tour.

    Breakthrough last season

The young defender made his debut at the end of last season against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

Despite losing the match 0-1, Fredricson was generally praised for his showing.

His manager Ruben Amorim claimed the defender “deserved better” than to be on the losing side after his display.

The Stockport native also played in an away fixture against Brentford the following month.

    Possible loan deal

The Athletic report that Fredricson has recently been training with the senior team during pre-season preparations.

The American outlet states that, “a loan cannot be entirely ruled out for the 20-year-old, especially on the off-chance United were to add to their centre-back options this summer.”

They argue however, that “he has shown he can provide emergency cover after an accomplished debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers in April.”

    Opportunity to impress

Fredricson has also been given the number 33 shirt, perhaps highlighting a new level of responsibility in the first team squad.

United’s first pre-season game is in just a couple of days against Leeds United and he will be hoping for an opportunity to impress.

He will almost certainly be named in the United States tour and there is space within United’s squad for defenders.

Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof have both left the team this summer and with Ruben Amorim sticking to a back three, there are likely to be opportunities for Fredricson.

What’s more, United have not really been linked to buying defenders as reports have indicated that they will focus on a striker, midfielder and goalkeeper before bringing in a centre back.

  • Everton Eye Jack Harrison Reunion Amid Leeds Exit Rumours

Everton Eye Jack Harrison Reunion Amid Leeds Exit Rumours

    [ad_1]

Everton are reportedly considering a summer swoop to re-sign Jack Harrison from Leeds United, as the 28-year-old winger prepares for a likely departure from Elland Road.

    Harrison’s Leeds Future Looks Over

According to Football Insider, Harrison has become a top target for the Toffees, who are looking to strengthen their wide options ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. The Englishman is said to have “burnt his bridges” at Leeds United following back-to-back loan spells at Goodison Park, and a permanent move now looks increasingly likely.

Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League in 2022/23 triggered a turbulent period for Harrison, once a key figure in their attack. Since then, he’s spent two seasons on loan at Everton, with mixed results.

Inconsistent Form, But Still Trusted at Everton

While Harrison impressed during his first loan stint, his most recent campaign left fans underwhelmed. He registered just one goal and one assist across 38 appearances in all competitions during the 2024/25 season.

Despite that dip in form, Everton still value the winger’s work ethic and familiarity with Sean Dyche’s system. With Jesper Lindstrom and Harrison both returning to their parent clubs, the Toffees are in urgent need of reinforcements out wide.

Bakayoko Deal Slipping – Harrison Back in the Frame?

Everton had shown interest in PSV’s Johan Bakayoko, but the Belgian is now closing in on a move to RB Leipzig. That development has put Harrison firmly back on the radar at Goodison Park, especially as a more affordable and Premier League-proven alternative.

While no deal is confirmed yet, all signs point to a potential third chapter for Jack Harrison at Everton. With Leeds seemingly ready to offload him and the player himself eager for a fresh start, a permanent move to Merseyside could be just around the corner.
