  • Victor Osimhen dreaming of Man United move

Victor Osimhen dreaming of Man United move

    [ad_1]

There has been some fresh reports which have claimed that Manchester United target Victor Osimhen is dreaming of a move to the Premier League after turning down a switch to Saudi Arabia.

Registering 16 goals across his first season at the club was promising but Rasmus Hojlund’s contributions have dropped off during his second season, and he really struggled to find the back of the net for boss Ruben Amorim.

Osimhen has been long tipped for a big money move to the Premier League or PSG, but no such transfer materialised last summer, and In the end he joined Turkish giants Galatasaray where he managed to score an impressive 37 goals last season.

Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sport Witness, claim the Nigerian international is ‘dreaming’ of an Old Trafford switch, with United ‘studying a strategy’ to land him later this summer.

The report adds that Napoli and United are on ‘good relations’ following the Scott McTominay deal and that could facilitate an Osimhen transfer.

Napoli CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis is said to want suitors to pay Osimhen’s €75 million (£63.5m) release clause, with the Red Devils reportedly considering including forward Joshua Zirkee in a possible move

    IcFootballnews Says…

Man United need to sign a top level striker this summer, they need someone like Osimhen to bang in the goals, Bruno Fernandes cant do it all on his own again next season.

If Manchester United could get a deal for Osimhen over the line it would send a massive statement to the rest of the Premier League, and we would all love to see what the Nigerian star could do in the Premier League.

But his high asking price and high wages will be the biggest issue that is for sure.

Randal Kolo Muani names his preferred transfer destination amidst interest from Manchester United – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

French striker Randal Kolo Muani has indicated a desire to continue at Juventus and make his stay at the club permanent, even as he continues to be linked to Manchester United.

United are actively searching for a new, dependable striker following another challenging season for Rasmus Hojlund. The Dane notched just four Premier League clubs as the club finished a lowly 15th place, having suffered 18 defeats.

There are strong rumours that Hojlund is on his way out of Old Trafford, with Inter Milan strongly interested in signing him. United identified Liam Delap as their top choice to replace Hojlund but the England youth international snubbed the Red Devils in favour of joining Chelsea.

United have been forced to explore deals for alternative targets and Kolo Muani is understood to feature on their list.

Kolo Muani sealed a loan move to Juventus in January after struggling for minutes at Paris Saint-Germain. He enjoyed an uptick in fortunes at Juventus, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in 16 appearances.

Juventus don’t have an option to keep Kolo Muani permanently, so they will need to reopen talks with PSG to secure his services. Their pursuit is further complicated by strong interest from United, who are also keen on the player.

However, the 26-year-old has made it clear that he hopes to stay at Juventus.

He spoke to L’Equipe [via GOAL] and remarked, “I’m very happy to have been able to play a little more, whether for the national team or for my club.”

“I’m very happy at Juventus, I hope to continue there. They welcomed me well, and I’m enjoying it.”

“I’m going with them to the Club World Cup.”

It remains unclear if Juventus will match PSG’s demands, though the player’s stated preference is a significant dent in United’s transfer plans.

Kolo Muani’s contract with PSG runs until 2028.

  • Aston Villa set sights on Marcin Bulka as Martinez replacement

Aston Villa set sights on Marcin Bulka as Martinez replacement

    [ad_1]

Aston Villa are reportedly eyeing a summer swoop for Polish international Marcin Bulka, with the OGC Nice goalkeeper viewed as a potential successor to Emiliano Martinez at Villa Park.

According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, the West Midlands club is closely monitoring Bulka amid growing uncertainty surrounding Martinez’s future. The Argentine World Cup winner is being courted by several top clubs, including Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United, as well as suitors from the Saudi Pro League.

Bulka’s Rise in France After Stuttering Start

Marcin Bulka’s journey has been anything but conventional. Once part of Chelsea’s youth ranks, the 25-year-old struggled for game time at both Stamford Bridge and Paris Saint-Germain. However, since his move to OGC Nice in 2022, Bulka has transformed his career, establishing himself as one of Ligue 1’s most consistent shot-stoppers.

With nearly 100 appearances under his belt, 30 clean sheets, and just 97 goals conceded, Bulka’s form has earned him admirers across Europe. His commanding presence and sharp reflexes make him a natural candidate to step into Martinez’s gloves.

A Return to England on the Cards?

Aston Villa’s shortlist has included names like Joan Garcia, but with the Spaniard likely heading to Barcelona, Bulka has emerged as the prime target. Should OGC Nice agree to a deal, they are expected to pursue Chelsea’s Djordje Petrovic as a replacement.

A return to English football for Bulka—six years after leaving Chelsea—could be on the horizon, with Unai Emery’s Villa side ready to make a move that might shape their post-Martinez era.

  • Would Kingsley Coman be good Arsenal signing

    [ad_1]

Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has been offered to ARSENAL, it has been claimed in the media just days after it was claimed the French star has decided he wants to leave the Bundesliga giants, but would he be a good signing for the Gunners?

There has been alot of players linked with a move to the club – but now it seems that they may be able to sign one of their long-term targets, Coman – ad he is seemingly a player that Bayern no longer desire.

L’Equipe recently reported that after Coman and many of the club’s big earners were invited to leave Bayern, the France international has decided not to stay at the club. He is expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit before the transfer window shuts on August 30.

And Arsenal would consider bringing in another wide player as they have constantly been plagued by injuries over the past 12 months to a number of their main stars.

The French winger also has interest from Saudi Arabia as clubs swoop in to try and get a deal done.

Reporter Iomie Stanley told icfootballnews: ‘A few seasons ago Coman would have been a wonderful signing for ARSENAL – but now – he would not be.

‘It looks like he has lost that hunger and desire that made him one of the best n the world and we would not be surprised to see him leave Bayern – but not for the Gunners – possibly for a mega money move to Saudi Arabia.

‘The Premier League is a place that he would probably struggle to play his best football – he is a brilliant player – but needs space to work his magic.

‘Add that to his injury issues – he could be a risky signing that is for sure and a player that would like to be playing second fiddle to all those Gunners wingers.’

Wolves plot summer swoop for Barcelona ace Gerard Martin

    [ad_1]

Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing a summer move for Barcelona’s rising left-back Gerard Martin, as they prepare for life after Rayan Ait-Nouri.

According to Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto, Wolves have expressed keen interest in 23-year-old Gerard Martin. The Barcelona defender has emerged as a top target for the Black Country outfit, with Ait-Nouri close to sealing a big-money switch to Manchester City ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.

    Who is Gerard Martin?

Martin has enjoyed a meteoric rise at Barcelona after joining the Catalan giants in July 2023. Hailing from the city itself, the young Spaniard developed through the ranks at EF Performance, Sant Gabriel, and UE Cornella before catching Barça’s eye.

He made his senior breakthrough in the 2024/25 campaign, racking up nearly 50 appearances and contributing one goal and six assists. His performances have turned heads across Europe, with Wolves now firmly in the race for his signature.

    Wolves’ Rebuild in Full Swing

Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is already planning a reshuffle, with the left-back position a priority. Martin, with his attacking flair and technical pedigree, fits the profile of a long-term replacement for Ait-Nouri.

The club is also targeting Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss to fill the creative void left by Matheus Cunha. With multiple reinforcements on the radar, Wolves are gearing up for a busy summer window.

  • Harvey Elliott explains why he would consider leaving Liverpool this summer – Liverpool FC

Harvey Elliott explains why he would consider leaving Liverpool this summer – Liverpool FC

    [ad_1]

It is no secret that Harvey Elliott is contemplating his future this summer and he has explained his possible motivations for doing so ahead of a summer tournament with England.

With 2,776 minutes during Jurgen Klopp‘s final season, Elliott would have hoped to be relied upon by Arne Slot in the same manner but he managed only 826 minutes this season.

The 22-year-old made valuable contributions, including five goals and three assists, but was starved of opportunities, leaving his future at his boyhood club in doubt.

He has been honest with what his future could entail as while he is not desperate to leave Liverpool, he knows the reasons why it will be up for discussion throughout the summer.

Speaking to members of the press at England’s training base, including Hayters, Elliott discussed his future at Anfield.

He said: “I think it’s a situation that me and, you know, the team on my behalf have to have a conversation about.

Liverpool players pose with the trophy after winning the premier league.

“Because coming into an age now where I’m 22, I’m gonna be 23 next season, and I don’t really wanna be wasting years in my career because it’s a short career, you don’t know what’s gonna happen.

“Injuries and things could shorten it. So I think it’s a situation that, as I’ve said before, I need to reflect, I need to see if I’m content in doing what I’m doing and how can I improve as a player.

“That’s the most important thing, that’s the main thing really, I just wanna improve and be the best possible version of myself and the best player I can be.

“And if that’s to go somewhere else then it’s a decision that I’m going to have to make, I just need to see what happens.”

As for the possibility of moving abroad, Elliott added: “Yeah maybe, as I said, it’s a situation that me and my team need to reflect on, to look at and see what the best path is for me.

“It could still be difficult, nothing makes me want to leave. I love the club, I love the fans, and the team I support them as well.

“But, as I said, most importantly it’s just about what’s best for my career and I just need to make that decision.”

Elliott will attract transfer interest but a decision on his future will likely be delayed as he competes in the U21 Euros with England, which gets underway on June 12 for the Young Lions.

Fellow Reds Tyler Morton and Jarell Quansah, who also experienced a tough 2024/25 season under Slot, are also part of Lee Carsley’s squad.

  • Liam Delap wants win trophies at Chelsea

    [ad_1]

Liam Delap has opened up and revealed just why he has decided to make the move to CHELSEA this summer transfer window.

The striker moved to Stamford Bridge from Ipswich on Wednesday after the Blues activated the £30million release clause in his contract.

Delap was attracting interest from a host of clubs, including Newcastle and Manchester United, after scoring 12 Premier League goals this season, But the 22-year-old chose Chelsea because he believes they can realise his ambition of winning silverware.

‘It’s a lifetime of graft,’ he says. ‘Since I was eight or nine years old, I was focused on football. I never wanted to do anything else, and I’ve given everything I could to make it happen.

‘It’s such a long and hard period and things can be tough for you, but I’ve always enjoyed it. I just love football; I’d be playing with my mates if I wasn’t a professional.

‘Fortunately, I’m alright at it – and I’m delighted that graft has worked out and I’m here now at CHELSEA.’

‘Some of my earliest football memories are watching him playing – and launching throw-ins – for Stoke at the Britannia!’ says Liam. ‘We tried to get to as many games as possible, and I had a great upbringing in that I was so close to it all.

‘It gave me that feeling of football early; it was incredible and something I wanted. But I knew it wouldn’t be easy, I had to work hard for it.

‘I owe both mum and dad so much. I’ve got a younger brother and sister, and while dad was playing, my mum was so important to balance us and make sure we got to where we are today.

‘I can’t repay them enough, but I’m sure they are very proud and that is what makes me happy.’

‘Growing up watching this club, I understand the stature of it and how incredible it has been over the years,’ he says.

‘I wanted to come here to win trophies. When I spoke to the club, everyone wanted to get back to the very top, and they have the quality and the players to do that. The hunger and desire to keep adding trophies, to take the club back to where it belongs, that is the main objective.’
