  • Arsenal ready to make offer for Ollie Watkins?

    [ad_1]

ARSENAL are still considering Ollie Watkins as their statement summer striker signing, according to reports in the media this week as the Gunners continue to be linked with a number of strikers.

Arsenal once again failed to win that Premier League season, despite a very impressive campaign for Gunners fans to watch, while they also failed to win any of the cup competitions that they were also in.

That has led to many reports in the media that Mikel Arteta is desperate to to improve the side and add a new striker to that attack, with many reports in the media claiming that Benjamin Sesko is the forward the Spaniard wants.

Arsenal are said to have entered talks with RB Leipzig over a deal for Benjamin Sesko, while they remain strongly linked with prolific Sporting Lisbon talisman Viktor Gyokeres.

But according to The Athletic, another move for Watkins this summer has not been discounted at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners made a shock late move to sign the England international back in the January transfer window, only to see a £60m bid firmly rebuffed as Aston Villa sold fellow forward Jhon Duran to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

    IcFootballnews says…

Watkins is a proven Premier League player that can score 20-30 goals a season when he is fit, there have been calls for many seasons from ARSENAL fans that he should be signed, but the money has always been too high.

However – Arteta is desperate to sign a striker that suite the style of play that he likes to employ, and the way that Watkins plays, the desire that he shows, he would be a brilliant addition to that Gunners squad.

Aston Villa dont want to sell Watkins, but if the money is right, they Arsenal could very well get a deal done for Watkins

  • Man United to battle Juventus and AC Milan for Jean-Philippe Mateta – Man United News And Transfer News

Man United to battle Juventus and AC Milan for Jean-Philippe Mateta – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United will have to beat off competition from Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan if they want to sign Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, according to reports.

After losing out on Ipswich Town centre-forward Liam Delap to Chelsea, United quickly bumped Mateta up their priority list.

It was claimed earlier this week that Palace were willing to accept a knockdown fee of just €30m for the player, and that United were set to make a “concrete move” for him.

However, Spanish outlet Fichajes bring the Red Devils back down to earth with their latest report on the 27-year-old, in which they give his value as a more believable €50m.

On top of this, they stress that United do not have a clear run at Mateta, who now has “two high-flying admirers” in Italy.

They continue that no official moves have yet been made for the striker and Palace “remain awaiting potential offers”, but leave us in no doubt that the Serie A sides “will battle it out” with United for his signature.

Mateta is one of several names on Ruben Amorim’s shortlist to improve his options at centre-forward, which is a priority position for reinforcement after Rasmus Hojlund’s dismal season.

Also under consideration are the likes of Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and RB Leipzig youngster Benjamin Sesko.

Mateta’s magical season in London saw him score 17 goals and register four assists in 46 matches for Oliver Glasner’s side.

And for once there was a fairytale ending, as Palace pipped Manchester City 1-0 in the final to win the FA Cup and qualify for the Europa League next season.

Should Mateta make the switch to Old Trafford he would of course forego any European football, after United fumbled their lines against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.

Mateta is one of many options but certainly feels like a viable one, given that Premier League experience seems to be the name of the game for this transfer window.

United have already picked up Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers after an outstanding season, and are reportedly hot on the trail of Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo – whether his arrival would mean no move for Mateta is unclear.

  • Real Madrid Confident of Signing Ajax Starlet Abdellah Ouazane

Real Madrid Confident of Signing Ajax Starlet Abdellah Ouazane

    [ad_1]

Real Madrid are reportedly closing in on the signing of Ajax’s 16-year-old midfield prodigy Abdellah Ouazane, as per Spanish journalist Rodra. The Amsterdam-born talent has caught the eye of Europe’s elite, with Los Blancos now leading the race for his signature.

    Who is Abdellah Ouazane?

Ouazane is the latest gem to emerge from Ajax’s famed youth academy, following in the footsteps of Jorrel Hato and other Dutch sensations. Born in Amsterdam but representing Morocco at youth level, he currently plays for their U17 national side.

The midfielder began his journey with Zeeburgia before joining Ajax in 2016. Since then, he’s progressed rapidly, featuring 15 times for the U17s and four times for the U19s—netting three goals at each level.

    Real Madrid’s Youth Revolution Continues

Under Florentino Perez, Real Madrid have made youth recruitment a cornerstone of their transfer strategy. The club’s focus on nurturing future stars has paid dividends, and Ouazane appears to be the next in line.

Reports suggest Madrid have already made contact with Ajax, and there is growing optimism at the Bernabéu that a deal can be finalised this summer. While other European clubs remain interested, Los Blancos are confident of winning the race.

All eyes will be on whether Ouazane begins his Spanish adventure in what could be a key step in a promising career.

  • Liverpool free to sign PSG star Goncalo Ramos

    [ad_1]

According to L’Equipe, Goncalo Ramos can leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, which will reportedly put the likes of LIVERPOOL on full alert as they are interested in the forward

The champions of Europe splashed an initial £55m to sign Ramos from Benfica in 2024 following a season-long loan, but he has become surplus to requirements, as the Champions League winners are not resting on their laurels as they look to cull their squad ahead of replenishing options for their defence.

Luis Enrique favours his unstoppable front three of Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, as well as Bradley Barcola, and it is claimed that PSG are listening to offers for Ramos.

It comes after Anfield Watch claimed that the Reds were plotting a move for the PSG outcast.

The Reds have been linked with the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike but with Ramos on the market, he could be a cheap option. the outlet has claimed that Liverpool are weighing up a move while Julian Alvarez, Sesko and Ekitike are on the radar.

Ramos’ camp is said to have been talking to clubs around Europe and the Saudi Pro League after being informed that PSG wish to part ways.

    IcFootballnews Says…

Ramos is a decent striker, he will score a few goals, but if he cannot lead that PSG attack, he will not be able to lead this Liverpool forward line, the Premier League is very difficult to play in on a weekly basis.

If Liverpool can get him for the right amount of money, he could be a solid signing to come off the bench and make a different, much like he does at PSG now, but we would not be surprised to see LIVERPOOL move on.

There are other clubs interested in Ramos that are desperate to add a striker to the side, Liverpool would be a great move for the man, but surely not the one he will be making this transfer window.

  • Everton keen on signing John Stones

Everton keen on signing John Stones

    [ad_1]

In what could be one of the most sentimental moves of the summer, Everton have made an official enquiry to re-sign former star John Stones from Manchester City — and it’s David Moyes who’s pushing the buttons.

According to a report from GIVEMESPORT, the Toffees have reached out to gauge the possibility of bringing Stones back to Merseyside, just as the club enters a bold new chapter at their stunning Hill Dickinson Stadium. Moyes, who returned to the Everton dugout midway through last season, is keen to stamp his authority on the squad — and a Stones homecoming could be a headline act.

Stones, now 31, rose to prominence in royal blue before his £50 million move to Manchester City in 2016. While he’s lifted trophy after trophy under Pep Guardiola, fitness issues have plagued his recent seasons. He managed just 20 appearances in the 2024/25 campaign, and with a year left on his hefty £250,000-a-week deal, uncertainty is brewing.

Guardiola still values Stones but can’t offer guarantees of regular minutes — especially with the likes of Ruben Dias, Akanji, Ake, and rising star Khusanov all jostling for spots.

That opens the door for Everton, where game time and a leadership role await. Moyes sees him as the perfect figure to partner Branthwaite or Tarkowski and offer steel at the back. If Everton can navigate the wage demands, this reunion could be a game-changer — and might just reignite Stones’ England ambitions ahead of the World Cup.

  • Marcus Rashford “frantically searching” for new club, Inter Milan ready to answer his prayers – Man United News And Transfer News

Marcus Rashford “frantically searching” for new club, Inter Milan ready to answer his prayers – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Inter Milan have shown interest in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, as per reports.

On the back of their embarrassing Champions League final defeat in Munich, Inter have seemingly accelerated their efforts to transform their attack, which failed to register a single goal against Paris Saint-Germain.

Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Inter are pursuing a deal for United striker Rasmus Hojlund.

Now, according to The Sun, the Nerazzurri are interested in signing Rashford as part of their rebuild following the Champions League demolition.

Aston Villa have the option to turn Rashford’s loan deal into a permanent transfer but they are not expected to exercise the £40 million clause after missing out on Champions League football despite his incredible showing.

The 27-year-old was directly involved in 10 goals, 4 goals and 6 assists, in 17 appearances under Unai Emery.

Meanwhile, his form is also unlikely to resurrect his United career, as he exited Old Trafford after falling out of favour with Ruben Amorim.

It is understood Rashford is “frantically searching for a new club” putting Inter on “red-alert”.

Inter’s toothless attack also played a part in their disastrous Serie A run during the business end of the campaign, giving Napoli a crucial edge and ultimately, the Scudetto.

Accordingly, Inter’s hierarchy believe Rashford could be a “key acquisition” to strengthen their attack. The idea of moving to Italy also “excites” the England international.

United want to part ways with Rashford on a permanent basis but the Serie A giants are reported to be exploring the option of a “long-term loan move.”

Barcelona are also thought to be chasing the United academy product but their financial predicament might make any deal tough to complete.

  • Chelsea transfer news – Branthwaite – Rodrygo

    [ad_1]

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you may have missed featuring the likes of Rodrygo, Jarrod Branthwaite and Victor Osimhen…

Fresh reports in the media this week which is claimed CHELSEA are very interested in Everton defender Jared Branthwaite, as they seek to improve that defence over the course of the transfer window.

Now Chelsea finished the season very well they got champions League football, and they won a European trophy, which doesn’t come around very often. So Enzo Maresca is looking the splash some money improve the squad.

He has already acquired the services of Liam Delap, but  fans are just waiting for the final confirmation to go through. But it seems that they are now looking at adding the talented Branthwaite to the side.

The young defender has the potential to become world-class in the coming seasons if he makes the right moves in the next couple of seasons, and reports on the sun have claimed that Chelsea are ready to open talks with Everton over a potential deal.

The reports claimed that Chelsea are ready to pay £70 million in order to get a deal done for defender and the young star is reportedly very interested in making a move to Stamford bridge.

Enzo Maresca wants to carry on improving the squad and certain areas and he knows that he needs to improve that backline, which caused them serious issues last season, and is an area of the side that he needs to improve in order to close the gap on Liverpool, Man city and Arsenal, who will be the favorites for the title again next season.

    icfootballnews says…

Branthwaite is a very very good young defender and has all the potential to develop into a top class defender. £70 million is a lot of money for the lad, but he could be worth it in the long-run.

He is just the type of player that CHELSEA like to sign, young and hungry, that they can give a massive contract too. He is ready for that next step up and if he is able to hold down a regular spot in that Blues back-line, he will certainly improve their defence.

It will be an interesting watch to see if the Blues do get a deal done for the lad that is for sure.

    CHELSEA WANTS OSIMHEN

There has been some reports in the media which have claimed that CHELSEA want to sign a Victor OsImhen from Napoli, despite agreeing to bring Liam Delap in from Ipswich in a deal worth £30 million.

Now Chelsea will linked with Osman a couple of years ago but it’s high wages and massive transfer fee that naturally wanted meant that he actually went to Galatasaray, where he has performed very impressively for the Turkish giants.

Chelsea have already signed Liam delap from Ipswich for £30 million but that has not stoPped reports that Enzo Maresca would like a new striker to come in and replace Nicholas Jackson, who have been decent struggled for game time for goals sorry on a weekly basis and his performances been very inconsistent for a club like Chelsea, who want to win the champions League and premier League etc.

Osimhen will know that it is very early in the transfer window, but Napoli will be ready to cash in for about 60 million and the sun says Chelsea are very interested in getting a deal done if they feel like they need him.

    icfootballnews says…

Osimhen is a world class striker there was no data about that. He is man at scores goals but at the day, he is getting on an age and he’s all about the money.

And with Nicholas Jackson and Liam Delap and a bunch of other young talent at CHELSEA, they don’t really need to go and get a new striker signed up after the arrival of the Delap, who will probably struggle himself to get the game time that he needs because Maresca likes to play a certain way and Liam Delap does not fit that style of play.

Osimhen will probably end up going to Saudi Arabia,  they obviously want him he’ll be interested in the high wages that they will probably offer him and to be fair you know what a crazy money he could get over there.

He’s done enough Europe to be happy so a move to Saudi Arabia is probably going to happen simply because Chelsea will not want to pay you massive wages for the age that he is right now.

CHELSEA FREE TO MAKE RODRYGO MOVE?

It has been claimed in the media once again that Real Madrid will be open to letting long-term CHELSEA and Arsenal transfer target Rodrygo leave this summer, if they receive the right offer.

Rodrygo has scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists in 50 appearances this season, but Tension has been building between the Brazilian and Real with the winger unhappy with his role in the team with his relationship with his teammates deteriorating significantly.

The former Santos starlet, who joined Real for €45million in 2018, is ‘angry’ with his diminished role and it has been claimed that he would be open to leaving the Spaniards over the next few months, with reports suggesting that he believes he has played his last game for Real.

Now, according to AS Madrid could be willing to part ways with the Brazilian forward if a substantial offer arrives. The ultimate decision, however, will rest with both Rodrygo and new head coach Xabi Alonso, who is reportedly scheduled to speak directly with the player soon.

However, It was claimed Real will be demanding a fee of €100million (£85m) for the player, and he will also look for wages around the £300k-a-week mark.

    icfootballnews says…

Rodrygo has been world class for a few seasons, he is playing at Real and scoring the goals that big time players should be scoring, but his time at the club is probably coming to the end as the Spaniards look to keep on improving the side.

However – Arsenal and CHELSEA do not really need to splash the cash and add another winger to that attack, they already have a number of players that can do the job that Rodrygo does and we are sure that a move to the London clubs will not happen.

If he does leave Madrid, it could be for a move to Saudi Arabia or PSG, that would suit his style of football.
