Tottenham Eye £52m Raid for West Ham Star Jarrod Bowen as Transfer Battle Heats Up

    [ad_1]

Spurs Target Premier League Proven Winger

Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up to make their move for West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen, with reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes suggesting the North London club are ‘preparing’ a formal £52m bid for the England international.

The 28-year-old has been nothing short of sensational since swapping Hull City for the London Stadium. A Conference League triumph and back-to-back seasons delivering 20+ goal contributions have cemented his status as a Hammers hero. Despite West Ham’s alarming drop into the relegation zone this season, Bowen continues to shine—bagging three goals and two assists in just 10 appearances.

Why Bowen Makes Perfect Sense for Spurs

After successfully nabbing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham last summer, Tottenham clearly see value in raiding their London rivals. And who can blame them?

Bowen brings exactly what Spurs need: pace, power, and Premier League pedigree. Operating primarily on the right wing, he’s equally comfortable leading the line—a versatility that’s gold dust in modern football. His ability to ghost past defenders in tight spaces, create chances for teammates, and finish clinically makes him a complete attacking package.

    The Transfer Dynamics

West Ham hold all the cards with Bowen contracted until 2030, but their precarious league position changes everything. Sitting four points from safety, relegation would almost certainly force Nuno Espirito Santo’s hand next summer.

Tottenham’s current wide options—Johnson, Odobert, Tel, Kudus, and the injured Kulusevski—haven’t consistently fired this season. While Xavi Simons operates better centrally and Tel remains a development project, Bowen offers immediate impact and proven quality.

A £52m investment in a player entering his prime years, battle-tested in English football’s top flight, and capable of transforming Spurs’ attacking output? That’s smart business. If West Ham’s nightmare season continues, this transfer could become inevitable rather than possible.

  • Man Utd and Tottenham in transfer battle for Morten Hjulmand

Man Utd and Tottenham in transfer battle for Morten Hjulmand

    [ad_1]

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to go head-to-head for the signing of Sporting CP midfielder Morten Hjulmand, according to Fichajes.

    Hjulmand’s Rise to Stardom

Since joining Sporting from Lecce two years ago, the Danish midfielder has become one of the standout performers in Portugal. He has helped Sporting win two league titles and a domestic cup, while also cementing his place in Denmark’s national team.

Hjulmand’s consistent performances have drawn attention from several top European clubs, with United and Spurs emerging as the frontrunners.

    United Prepare £52m Offer

Reports suggest that Manchester United have identified Hjulmand as a priority target to bolster their midfield and are ready to table a £52 million bid. The 26-year-old currently has a £70 million release clause and is under contract with Sporting until 2028. However, the Portuguese giants could be tempted to sell for a slightly lower figure given their track record as a selling club.

    Tottenham and Juventus Also Interested

The pursuit won’t be straightforward for United, as Juventus are also monitoring the situation and have reportedly initiated early talks. Meanwhile, Tottenham, despite signing João Palhinha this summer, are eager to add further quality and depth to their midfield ahead of next season.

    Amorim Connection Could Prove Key

One factor that could swing the race in United’s favour is Ruben Amorim’s influence. The Portuguese coach, who managed Hjulmand at Sporting before joining Old Trafford last year, played a pivotal role in the Dane’s development — and his presence could be decisive in convincing the player to make the move.

    Premier League Battle Brewing

With Casemiro’s inconsistency and Manuel Ugarte’s adaptation struggles, United are desperate for stability in midfield. Meanwhile, Tottenham’s long-term vision under Ange Postecoglou continues to prioritise technically gifted, hard-working players — making Hjulmand an ideal fit.

The battle for Hjulmand’s signature is heating up, and it remains to be seen whether Old Trafford or North London will be his next destination in January or the summer.

  • Tottenham and Liverpool set for January battle over Nathan Collins

Tottenham and Liverpool set for January battle over Nathan Collins

    [ad_1]

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool look set to go head-to-head in the race to sign Brentford defender Nathan Collins, according to reports from Caught Offside.

Spurs had a turbulent summer after parting ways with Ange Postecoglou despite his Europa League triumph. In came Thomas Frank, a familiar face to Collins, who previously coached him at Brentford. Expectations were high for new arrivals to strengthen the squad, but Tottenham’s summer business was limited. Permanent deals for Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons were the only headline moves, while Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso signed full-time after loans. Randal Kolo Muani and João Palhinha also arrived on temporary deals, but crucially, no defensive reinforcements came through the door.

That decision has left Spurs exposed at the back, and Collins is now firmly on their radar for January. At 24, the Irishman has already established himself as a leader at Brentford. With four years still left on his contract, the Bees are expected to demand at least £43m – and they won’t be keen to lose him midway through the campaign.

    Liverpool Also in the Mix

Tottenham aren’t alone in their pursuit. Liverpool are also weighing up a move for Collins after a frustrating summer window. The Reds allowed Jarell Quansah to depart and wanted to bring in two centre-backs, securing Giovanni Leoni from Parma but failing in a late bid for Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.

Arne Slot is now left with Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konaté, Joe Gomez, and Leoni. But Konaté’s injury against Arsenal, Gomez’s inconsistent fitness, and Leoni’s inexperience mean depth is a real concern. Collins, proven in the Premier League, ticks a lot of boxes for Liverpool’s needs.

With Manchester United also monitoring the situation, Collins could become one of the most sought-after defenders in the January window. Whether Brentford are willing to part ways with their defensive cornerstone mid-season remains the biggest question.

  • West Ham and Everton Locked in Transfer Battle for Tottenham Midfielder Yves Bissouma

West Ham and Everton Locked in Transfer Battle for Tottenham Midfielder Yves Bissouma

    [ad_1]

Spurs Outcast Now on Rivals’ Radar

West Ham United and Everton are circling Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma, with both clubs exploring a potential summer move, according to transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri.

Bissouma was left out of Thomas Frank’s squad for Spurs’ UEFA Super Cup clash with Paris Saint-Germain after repeated lateness – the latest in a string of disciplinary issues. It’s not the first time he has faced such punishment, as former boss Ange Postecoglou also dropped him last season after a controversial off-field incident.

Despite his problems, few question Bissouma’s quality on the pitch. The Mali international remains one of the Premier League’s most combative midfielders, excelling at breaking up play and dominating central areas.

    West Ham’s Midfield Hunt Intensifies

The Hammers’ pursuit makes sense given their urgent need for reinforcements in midfield. Carlos Soler has returned to PSG without leaving a lasting mark at the London Stadium, leaving David Moyes in search of a reliable replacement. Bissouma, with his proven Premier League experience, fits the bill perfectly.

Everton’s Midfield Options vs. Bissouma’s Edge

Over at Goodison Park, Everton boast depth in midfield with James Garner, Idrissa Gueye, Carlos Alcaraz, Tim Iroegbunam and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Garner in particular has caught the eye in pre-season, thriving in a deeper role. However, what the Toffees arguably lack is Bissouma’s tenacity – the kind of aggressive ball-winner who shields the defence and disrupts opposition rhythm.

    What Next for Bissouma?

While a move away looks increasingly likely, staying at Spurs isn’t completely off the table. A key factor in Bissouma’s decision is his desire to remain in England for at least another season, supporting his bid to secure a British passport.

With West Ham and Everton now jostling for his signature, Tottenham could be tempted to cash in if a bid close to his £21 million Transfermarkt valuation arrives.

This summer transfer battle is heating up – and Bissouma might just be the answer to West Ham’s midfield gap or Everton’s missing bite.

  • Man United’s Benjamin Sesko battle with Newcastle United: major update emerges this evening – Man United News And Transfer News

Man United’s Benjamin Sesko battle with Newcastle United: major update emerges this evening – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United’s battle with Newcastle United for the signature of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko took a huge twist this evening according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

    A tale of two cities

The two clubs have been locking horms over the transfer of the young striker, with Newcastle already having had a €75 million plus €5 million bid rejected by the German outfit.

It has been widely reported that the player was biding his time in deciding which club he would prefer to join, while for their part, United were said to be willing to match Newcastle’s bid for him.

    A new bid comes in

In a major update this evening, the renowned Ornstein claims that:

“Red Bull Leipzig have received an improved offer from Newcastle United to sign Benjamin Sesko.”

He added that the opening €75m + €5m bid “was deemed insufficient by Leipzig, leading Newcastle to raise that to at least €80m.

    Cold Feet

The hammer blow for United fans came in the reporter’s next sentence:

“Sesko is also wanted by Manchester United, but a proposal has yet to arrive from Old Trafford and the figures they have indicated a willingness to pay are lower than those of Newcastle at present.

He adds that Newcastle are now in a much stronger position than United “after a day of positive talks held by their co-owner Jamie Reuben with Leipzig and the 22-year-old striker.”

Ornstein does offer hope to United, noting that Sesko’s preference will determine the outcome to some extent. There is a “gentleman’s agreement” in place between player and club that he will be allowed to leave if a suitable offer comes in.

The reporter believes it unlikely, however, that Leipzig would agree to sell to United for a fee they have already rejected from Newcastle even if the player’s preference were to join the Red Devils.

United will bid if the player picks them

Another top tier reporter, Fabrizio Romano, corroborated Ornstein’s story this evening, adding that they “confirmed again to RB Leipzig that they will bid if Šeško picks them.”

  • Man United to battle Juventus and AC Milan for Jean-Philippe Mateta – Man United News And Transfer News

Man United to battle Juventus and AC Milan for Jean-Philippe Mateta – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United will have to beat off competition from Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan if they want to sign Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, according to reports.

After losing out on Ipswich Town centre-forward Liam Delap to Chelsea, United quickly bumped Mateta up their priority list.

It was claimed earlier this week that Palace were willing to accept a knockdown fee of just €30m for the player, and that United were set to make a “concrete move” for him.

However, Spanish outlet Fichajes bring the Red Devils back down to earth with their latest report on the 27-year-old, in which they give his value as a more believable €50m.

On top of this, they stress that United do not have a clear run at Mateta, who now has “two high-flying admirers” in Italy.

They continue that no official moves have yet been made for the striker and Palace “remain awaiting potential offers”, but leave us in no doubt that the Serie A sides “will battle it out” with United for his signature.

Mateta is one of several names on Ruben Amorim’s shortlist to improve his options at centre-forward, which is a priority position for reinforcement after Rasmus Hojlund’s dismal season.

Also under consideration are the likes of Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and RB Leipzig youngster Benjamin Sesko.

Mateta’s magical season in London saw him score 17 goals and register four assists in 46 matches for Oliver Glasner’s side.

And for once there was a fairytale ending, as Palace pipped Manchester City 1-0 in the final to win the FA Cup and qualify for the Europa League next season.

Should Mateta make the switch to Old Trafford he would of course forego any European football, after United fumbled their lines against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.

Mateta is one of many options but certainly feels like a viable one, given that Premier League experience seems to be the name of the game for this transfer window.

United have already picked up Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers after an outstanding season, and are reportedly hot on the trail of Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo – whether his arrival would mean no move for Mateta is unclear.
