Everton Plot Ambitious Move for Douglas Luiz Return

    [ad_1]

Everton are gearing up for a bold summer swoop to bring Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz back to the Premier League, this time to Goodison Park.

According to Calciomercato, the Toffees are ready to test Juventus’ resolve with a move worth around €40 million for the 27-year-old. Luiz, who shone brightly during his time at Aston Villa, has struggled to find his rhythm in Turin—and a return to England could be just what he needs to reignite his career.

    A Proven Premier League Performer

Luiz’s pedigree in the Premier League is unquestionable. During his spell at Villa Park, he established himself as one of the division’s most complete midfielders—blending grit, control, creativity, and defensive discipline. If Everton get this deal over the line, they’ll be signing a midfielder capable of transforming their engine room.

While his time at Juventus hasn’t hit the expected heights, the Italian giants appear open to a sale, and Everton are monitoring the situation closely.

    Everton Mean Business

After a string of underwhelming campaigns, Everton are desperate to climb the table—and signings like Douglas Luiz show serious intent. With manager David Moyes returning and already laying solid foundations, adding a player of Luiz’s calibre could be a major step forward.

They have the financial muscle to pull this off, but the big question remains: can they convince Luiz of their ambitions?

    Back Where He Belongs?

A return to the Premier League could be ideal for Luiz, who was once regarded as one of the league’s standout midfielders. At 27, he’s entering his prime—and Everton could offer him the perfect platform to rediscover his best form in familiar surroundings.

If the Toffees can seal this move, it might just be the midfield upgrade they’ve been crying out for.

  • Jarrod Branthwaite agrees new Everton deal

    [ad_1]

Long-term CHELSEA transfer target Jarrad Branthwaite says he is “over the moon” to have signed a new five-year deal at Everton and end all the speculation regarding his future at the Merseysiders.

Branthwaite has become one of the most in-demand young centre-backs in the Premier League and is a player that Chelsea have been eyeing up for the last couple of transfer windows, with many believing that the Blues could make a move this summer.

However – Branthwaite says he is “over the moon” to have signed a new five-year deal at Everton and put an end to all the speculation – The 23-year-old evertontv: “I’m over the moon. It’s been something we’ve been talking about since the end of the season, and to get it signed now is something I’m really excited about.

“The trust the club’s put in me and how many games I’ve played over the past two seasons has made it quite an easy decision for me to stay and to keep progressing as a player.

“I know the club. I feel loved by the players – we’ve got a good group here – and the fans. Over the past few years, I’ve seen the impact the fans have on us as a team and how much it means to them. And, obviously, with the new stadium we’ve got here, the new ownership and the new manager, it’s an exciting project and it’s something I want to be part of.

“Moving to the new stadium together and having that first game at home is something we’re all looking forward to. We want to go again and push for a good season.”

He added: “The ambition was a huge thing. The way the manager wants us to go as a team and what he wants us to do for next season and where he wants us to challenge for has had a big impact on the decision. I think you saw towards the end of last season as a team what we can do.

“The manager has been really good, not only for me but for the group. You saw the change in results, the change in mood since he came in. He drives the demands every day to be better.”

  • Everton Ready to Splash £43m for Conor Gallagher in Bold Transfer Move

Everton Ready to Splash £43m for Conor Gallagher in Bold Transfer Move

    [ad_1]

Everton are reportedly prepared to make a big-money move to bring Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher back to the Premier League, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

Gallagher’s Journey: From Chelsea to Madrid

A product of Chelsea’s famed Cobham academy, Gallagher’s rise to prominence came during a standout loan spell at Crystal Palace. That stint earned him a spot in Chelsea’s first team under Mauricio Pochettino in 2023/24, where he became a regular starter.

Despite being a key figure at Stamford Bridge, the Blues chose to cash in last summer, selling him to Atletico Madrid. The Englishman made a promising start under Diego Simeone but faded as the season wore on, starting just one match in the Club World Cup — and even being subbed off at half-time.

Atletico Open to Offers Amid Midfield Reshuffle

With the arrivals of Johnny Cardozo and Alejandro Baena, Gallagher’s role at the Estadio Metropolitano has become increasingly uncertain. Atletico are reportedly open to letting him leave if a suitable offer arrives — and Everton are ready to pounce.

The Toffees are said to be willing to offer around £43 million to bring the 25-year-old to the newly renamed Hill Dickinson Stadium. But they aren’t alone, with Wolves also showing serious interest and potentially matching Everton’s bid.

    A Perfect Premier League Fit?

While Gallagher may have struggled with the technical demands of La Liga, his high-intensity style, pressing ability, and relentless work rate make him tailor-made for Premier League football. A move to Goodison Park — now under David Moyes’ leadership — could be just what he needs to reignite his career.

Moyes values energy, discipline, and physical presence — all attributes Gallagher offers in spades. However, given the Englishman’s reduced role in Spain, Everton may look to negotiate a slightly lower fee.

    Final Verdict

Conor Gallagher to Everton is one to watch. With the Premier League kickoff fast approaching, the Toffees will need to act swiftly if they want to beat Wolves and land one of England’s most industrious midfielders.

  • Everton keen on signing John Stones

Everton keen on signing John Stones

    [ad_1]

In what could be one of the most sentimental moves of the summer, Everton have made an official enquiry to re-sign former star John Stones from Manchester City — and it’s David Moyes who’s pushing the buttons.

According to a report from GIVEMESPORT, the Toffees have reached out to gauge the possibility of bringing Stones back to Merseyside, just as the club enters a bold new chapter at their stunning Hill Dickinson Stadium. Moyes, who returned to the Everton dugout midway through last season, is keen to stamp his authority on the squad — and a Stones homecoming could be a headline act.

Stones, now 31, rose to prominence in royal blue before his £50 million move to Manchester City in 2016. While he’s lifted trophy after trophy under Pep Guardiola, fitness issues have plagued his recent seasons. He managed just 20 appearances in the 2024/25 campaign, and with a year left on his hefty £250,000-a-week deal, uncertainty is brewing.

Guardiola still values Stones but can’t offer guarantees of regular minutes — especially with the likes of Ruben Dias, Akanji, Ake, and rising star Khusanov all jostling for spots.

That opens the door for Everton, where game time and a leadership role await. Moyes sees him as the perfect figure to partner Branthwaite or Tarkowski and offer steel at the back. If Everton can navigate the wage demands, this reunion could be a game-changer — and might just reignite Stones’ England ambitions ahead of the World Cup.

  • Report – Everton in touch with Liam Delap

Report – Everton in touch with Liam Delap

    [ad_1]

Everton have reportedly entered the race for Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, holding discussions in an effort to sell their project to the 21-year-old. However, the Toffees face stiff competition from Premier League heavyweights Manchester United and Chelsea, who are currently leading the chase.

Premier League Clubs Circle for Delap’s Signature

According to The Guardian, Everton have spoken with Delap to outline their vision, though manager David Moyes admitted they may be “behind the black ball” compared to rival suitors. Delap, who scored 12 goals in the Premier League for relegated Ipswich Town, is expected to make a summer move to remain in the top flight.

The young forward has a £30 million release clause in his contract, attracting interest from a host of clubs. Manchester United are reportedly considering offloading one of their current strikers to fund a move for Delap, while Chelsea are keen to bolster their frontline and add competition for Nicolas Jackson.

    Can Everton Convince Delap?

Despite Moyes’ admission that Everton trail in the race, they have had the chance to pitch their offer directly to Delap. Moyes said:

“We’ve had a chance to speak to him. He’s spoken to three or four clubs and he’s given us the opportunity to pitch our case.”

    Reinforcements Needed at Goodison Park

With doubts over Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future and Beto yet to fully convince, Everton are actively seeking to strengthen their No.9 options. Even if Calvert-Lewin signs a new deal, Delap could offer a fresh, dynamic presence up front—something the Toffees desperately need heading into the new season.

Everton slap £70 million price tag on Jarrad Branthwaite to end Manchester United’s chances of signing him – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United currently have three centre-backs out injured, while two are set to leave in the summer, and Ruben Amorim could do with help in the defensive department once the transfer window opens.

Lisandro Martinez is out till next year with an ACL injury. Even upon his return, the World Cup winner could be set for a position change.

Matthijs de Ligt suffered an injury against Brentford and will miss at least the next two games. Ayden Heaven is also sidelined.

Add Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof‘s impending departures, and all Amorim has are Leny Yoro, an ageing Harry Maguire and an unfit Luke Shaw. Young Tyler Fredricson has impressed but he needs to bulk up.

    Defence needs help

Jarrad Branthwaite has been a long-term target for INEOS, who failed with two bids for the Englishman last summer.

Talks of a move have refused to die down amid the 22-year-old’s imperious form for the Toffees this season.

Amid another potential summer approach, Teamtalk have suggested that David Moyes’ return has changed the Merseyside outfit’s outlook with the owners set to back the former United boss in the market.

And Everton will not allow the England international to leave for anything less than £70 million and they will not change their valuation come what may.

    Everton not budging

“Everton are point-blank refusing to part with Jarrad Branthwaite for anything less than their valuation this summer no matter which side wants to sign him, sources have revealed to TEAMtalk, leaving Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s big transfer dream facing capitulation.

“Sources have confirmed the Toffees have slapped a £70 million (€82.6m, $93.7m) minimum price tag on the defender – and they’re not budging.”

Lots of clubs were interested in Branthwaite with the centre-back helping the Toffees keep nine clean sheets. But it seems he could be staying put for now.

United have other positions in greater need of reinforcements and it is unlikely INEOS will sanction such an extensive outlay on a centre-back this summer.

  • Report – Everton want Nicolas Pepe

Report – Everton want Nicolas Pepe

    [ad_1]

Everton are reportedly in the race to sign Villarreal winger Nicolas Pepe this summer, with competition heating up from Wolverhampton Wanderers and clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Toffees Eye Reinforcement as Pepe Rebuilds His Career

According to Foot Mercato, the Toffees are keen on bolstering their attacking options and have identified 29-year-old Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe as a target. After a turbulent spell at Arsenal, Pepe has found his feet again with Villarreal, registering two goals and four assists in 23 La Liga appearances this season. His standout performance against Osasuna has reignited interest from several clubs.

Pepe, once a £72 million signing for Arsenal, never quite lived up to expectations in North London. Following a season in Turkey with Trabzonspor, the French-born winger made a free switch to Villarreal, where he has shown glimpses of his old form from his LOSC Lille days.

Premier League Return: A Fresh Start at Everton?

Everton’s interest in Pepe is no surprise, especially with uncertainty looming over loan stars Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom. The club needs reliable depth out wide, and Pepe, with his Premier League experience, could offer just that.

However, Everton aren’t alone in their pursuit. Wolves and several Saudi clubs are also monitoring Pepe’s situation, setting up a potential summer transfer tussle. With his top-flight experience and renewed form, a return to the Premier League could be the perfect opportunity for Pepe to reignite his career.

  • Everton Eye Emotional Reunion with Richarlison

Everton Eye Emotional Reunion with Richarlison

    [ad_1]

Everton are plotting a sensational move to bring Richarlison back to Goodison Park this summer, with the Brazilian forward emerging as a top target ahead of the transfer window.

Richarlison’s Tottenham Move Hasn’t Gone to Plan

Back in 2022, Richarlison’s £60 million switch to Tottenham was billed as a blockbuster deal. He arrived in North London after playing a pivotal role in helping Everton avoid relegation. However, his time at Spurs has been turbulent. A lacklustre first season saw him net just once, and while he found some form with 11 Premier League goals in his second campaign, injuries have wrecked his momentum this season, limiting him to only 12 appearances.

    Everton Sensing an Opportunity

Now, with Tottenham reportedly open to offers, Everton smell an opportunity. The Brazilian’s stock has dipped, and the Toffees are weighing up a cut-price bid to reunite with a fan favourite. Richarlison is also said to be on the radar of Saudi clubs, but a return to Brazil looks unlikely. That leaves Everton with a chance to swoop in—if they can convince both Spurs and the player.

Moyes Wants Firepower Amid Calvert-Lewin Uncertainty

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin potentially on his way out as his contract winds down, David Moyes is eager to bolster his attack. Richarlison, with his passion, Premier League experience, and deep connection to the club, fits the bill perfectly.

Bringing him back to lead the line in Everton’s brand-new stadium could be the perfect way to kick off a new chapter.
