  • Eberechi Eze could leave Crystal Palace

    [ad_1]

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish remained coy over the futures of Eberechi Eze after their Community Shield victory over Liverpool, but admitted the ARSENAL target could leave the club this summer.

Arsenal have joined Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea in spending some big money this transfer window to improve the squad enough to keep up their challenge for that Premier League title next season.

Mikel Arteta has added to pretty much every aspect of the squad and spent over £200 million on new players, but his business may not be done yet as it has been constantly reported that the Gunners are still keen on Eze.

Over the past few seasons, Eze has really improved and showed that he is now ready to make that next step in his career, with his performances also catching the eyes of Liverpool, Man United and Tottenham.

Asked by HaytersTV if days like beating Liverpool in the Community Shield are important in keeping Eze and Guehi at the club, Parish replied: “Yeah of course but players come and go in football clubs. I mean it’s a life cycle isn’t it?

“Hopefully they’ll still be here, that’s what I’d like.”

Amid all the speculation, and quizzed about Arsenal’s interest in Eze, Nigel Winterburn recently told Metro via NewBettingOffers.co.uk: ‘I think he’d be a good fit.

‘Whether we would get him or not I don’t know. He’s a player who I think is a game-changer. He’s a lovely player.

‘Would I love to have him in the Arsenal squad? Of course I would. I don’t know what money Arsenal have got left – they may have to shift out one or two players first.

‘But if you asked me if we should take Eze, I would say yes.’

    IcFootballnews Says…

ARSENAL have already shown that they will spend money on players they really wants, they have pretty much signed all their top targets this summer window. So if they really want to add Eze to the side, then they will.

  • Arsenal on verge of sealing £55m deal for Eberechi Eze

Arsenal on verge of sealing £55m deal for Eberechi Eze

    [ad_1]

Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the signing of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, with a £55 million deal said to be on the table, according to Football Transfers.

The Gunners have already made six additions in this summer’s transfer window, but Mikel Arteta is still looking to bolster his attacking options before the September 1 deadline. A versatile playmaker has been high on the club’s wish list, and Eze has emerged as the top target.

    Transfer Details

Arsenal are prepared to pay £30 million up front, with the remaining £25 million to be settled in instalments. While the exact payment structure is yet to be finalised, sources suggest it won’t be an obstacle to completing the move. The final hurdle is Crystal Palace securing a suitable replacement before giving the green light for Eze’s departure.

    Why Eze Fits Arsenal’s Plans

The 27-year-old is known for his electric dribbling, creativity, and eye for goal, making him an ideal fit for Arteta’s system. Primarily a number 10—much like Martin Ødegaard—Eze can also operate from the left flank, offering tactical flexibility. Arteta could deploy him as a left-sided winger or rotate him with Ødegaard in the central playmaking role.

Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have shown flashes of brilliance on the left wing but struggled for consistency, while Arsenal still lack a regular scoring threat cutting inside from that side. Eze’s ability to create and finish chances could transform that area into a major weapon.

    The Bigger Picture

Arsenal’s pre-season form has been mixed, with concerns over creativity in the final third still lingering despite a strong 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao. Viktor Gyökeres is set to lead the line, but Arteta appears determined to add more dynamism behind him.

If the reported agreement holds, it seems only a matter of time before Eze swaps Selhurst Park for the Emirates—giving Arsenal one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking midfielders ahead of the new campaign.

  • Nunez – Eze – Rodrygo feature in Arsenal news now

    [ad_1]

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…

South American football expert Tim Vickery has been on Sky Sports News discussing ARSENAL target Rodrygo, and whether or not the attacker will leave Real Madrid this summer transfer window

Rodrygo scored 13 goals and provided over 10 assists in over 50 appearances last season, but Tension has been building between the Brazilian and Real with the winger unhappy with his role in the team with his relationship with his teammates deteriorating significantly.

According to recent reports, Madrid could be willing to part ways with the Brazilian forward if a substantial offer arrives. The ultimate decision, however, will rest with both Rodrygo and new head coach Xabi Alonso.

There were even claims that he had fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu, plus he was allegedly angry that the team was being built around Kylian Mbappe – not Vinicius Jr and himself.

However – Rodrygo is now set to stay in Madrid and wants to convince Xabi Alonso he is still committed to the club.

But according to Vickery, even though Rodrygo wants to stay at Madrid, he may seek a transfer move this summer: “Let’s watch this space over the next few weeks because this could be interesting.

“Rodrygo has the Real Madrid dilemma that it’s hard for players to be top dog there and he’s so talented – almost absurdly talented.

“But someone has to do the hard yards and Jude Bellingham said last year that he considered Rodrygo the most talented of all of them and the one who has to sacrifice himself the most for the side.

“Where does Xabi Alonso see him? Because he can play anywhere across the front line. He didn’t use him very much in the Club World Cup and when he did, it was wide right.

“We know Rodrygo doesn’t want to play wide right. He would far prefer a free role. Now what we understand is that he’s very keen on staying at Real Madrid and proving that he can be a key part of that side.

“Over the next two weeks , if that doesn’t happen, then he might start looking around and what an asset he would be.

“It’s a waste to have him as a bit-part player, filling in spaces or playing wide on the right. You want him roaming free, dropping his little bombs all around the opposing goal.”

    EZE WOULD BE AMAZING SIGNING

Gunners icon Ray Parlour has opened up and claimed that Eberechi Eze would be an amazing signing for ARSENAL this transfer window, as the Premier League giants continue to be linked with the attacker.

Now, amid all the speculation, and According to Parlour, Eze would be a ‘great addition’ to Mikel Arteta’s squad and already ‘looks like an Arsenal player’: ‘He has excelled at Palace, he’s now in the England set-up and he looks like an Arsenal player,’ the three-time Premier League winner added.

‘He is exciting to watch, got a good head on his shoulders and would excite the crowd with the way he glides with the ball.

‘I think he would be a great addition to the squad, for sure.’

    IcFootballnews Says…

ARSENAL have already shown that they will spend money on players they really wants, they have pretty much signed all their top targets this summer window. So if they really want to add Eze to the side, then they will.

But even though a move to Arsenal would be amazing, Eze would be joining to keep the bench warmer more often than he does at Palace.

    NUNEZ CLAIM MADE

ARSENAL have been told they missed a trick by not considering a move for Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez this summer, as the Reds striker is now making the move to Saudi Arabia after the Merseysiders agreed to let him leave.

Nunez has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks, as there has been constant speculation that he is a player that Arne Slot is ready to let leave, but not many offers actually arrived for the forward.

    Getty Images

However – The Uruguayan looks set to leave Liverpool this summer to join Al-Hilal for an initial £46m fee after the Reds brought in Hugo Ekitike earlier in the window, But Dean Saunders believes the 26-year-old could well have been worth a gamble for the likes of Arsenal or Man United, despite finishing last season with just five league goals.

‘Nunez, he’s up for grabs. Would you rather not have Nunez than Sesko and Gyokeres?’ Saunders told talkSPORT.

‘They paid a lot of money for them, and I thought, ‘he’s up for grabs.’ I would take a chance on him.

Saunders added: ‘He’s got every finish in his locker, both feet, headers, he’s gone round the keeper, he’s slotted the keeper, he’s chipped the keeper, he’s scored from distance.

‘We’ve seen him do every finish, but somehow he manages to conjure up a miss – I don’t know how many times he hit the post and the crossbar last season.

‘There’s definitely a player in there, you look at him and think, ‘what a handful he is to play against.’

‘He scored a lot of goals for Benfica in his second season and a couple of seasons ago he got 20-odd for Liverpool.

‘I wouldn’t be surprised if Nunez goes somewhere else and scores 20 goals next season.’

  • Eberechi Eze warned about joining Arsenal

    [ad_1]

Rio Ferdinand has warned Eberechi Eze he may struggle for game time if he joins ARSENAL from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window over the next couple of weeks.

Arsenal have been doing alot of transfer business have signed quite a few players and have spent over £200 million on new players already, but they are very interested in trying to get a transfer deal done for the impressive Eze.

Eze has established himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League, helping Palace land a historic FA Cup trophy last term. The 27-year-old has played a total of 167 games for Palace to date, registering 40 goals and 28 assists for the south London club.

It has been claimed that Arsenal are willing to pay over £60 million to get a deal done for Eze, but amid all the speculation, Ferdinand has told the Englishman to think twice about a transfer.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ferdinand said: ‘I don’t think [Arsenal] need Eze. Why do [Arsenal] need Eze? Where is he going to play? You’ve got Martin Zubimendi as a holding midfielder, Declan Rice on the left-hand side of the No.8, Martin Odegaard on the right-hand side.

‘Then you’ve got a winger – out of Noni Madueke or Gabriel Martinelli… He’d play where Declan Rice plays.’

‘Yeah, he would give [Arsenal] depth. You could move it about. If Declan Rice gets injured, who have you got? Max Dowman.’

    IcFootballnews Says…

Look, if Eze does want to leave Palace this transfer window, then moving to ARSENAL may not be the best thing for his career right now, he would not get the game time that he wants or needs.

There are other clubs that are interested, who are also in the Champions League, that would probably be a better option for Eze, he cant just follow the money if he actually wants to pay at a top level.

  • Arsenal news now: Eze – Kluivert

    [ad_1]

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Martin Odegaard, Eberechi Eze and Justin Kluivert that you may have missed today…

Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Eberechi Eze is “very tempted” by the opportunity to play for Arsenal, as the Gunners plan to sign the gifted Crystal Palace winger this transfer window.

ARSENAL have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few weeks – there has been alot of players linked with a move to the Emirates – and Eze is a player that the Gunners reportedly wants.

After an impressive season for Crystal Palace last year – Eze has been attracting all sorts of interest from the Premier Leagues biggest clubs and there is surely a big battle brewing over the next few weeks – but it seems that the London clubs have the edge in the chase.

Team Talk recently claimed the Gunners have now held discussions with Crystal Palace and the England international about a move, and the attacker has even told friends that he is making the move to the Emirates.

It has been previously reported that the Eagles will not accept a penny less than Eze’s release clause which is said to be £67.5million.

Now Romano has claimed that Eberechi Eze is “very tempted” by the opportunity to play for Arsenal, and the chance to play in the Champions League.

And according to reporter Iomie Stanley, he is good enough to make the move to Arsenal – he told icfootballnews: ‘I would be very surprised to still see Eze at Palace for next season.

“Michael Olise has already moved onto Bayern Munich last summer, so that will have addressed any financial concerns the club may have had and the funds raised from his sale has helped the club bring in some new faces, but Eze now has a taste for the very top of the game.

“Man United are the latest side to join the race for Eze – but Eze is a London boy and would love to make the move to the Emirates and not up North.

“I think he’s definitely good enough to play for one of the bigger clubs in the league, and i believe he could break into that starting side at the Emirates.’

    ODEGAARD EXCITED WITH GYOKERES

Martin Odegaard is full of praise for for new signing Viktor Gyokeres after ARSENAL pulled off the deal to bring the in-demand Swedish star to the Premier League in a deal worth over £60 million

The Swedish striker has taken the No.14 shirt at the Emirates, once worn by legend Thierry Henry. Arsenal have signed Gyokeres in a deal worth £63.5million, an initial £54.8m up front, with a further £8.7m in additional clauses.

The 27-year-old has penned a five-year deal worth around £300,000-a-week. The 6ft 2in ace crashed in 97 goals and 102 appearances for Sporting Lisbon, including a stunning Champions League hat-trick against Manchester City last season.

And after seeing the big striker in action over the past few days, The Gunners captain said: “I think you’ve all seen what he’s done in his career so far, especially the last season at Sporting, the numbers speak for themselves.

“He’s a very complete player. He’s physical, strong, fast, good finisher and intelligent as well.

“I think he’s a very complete striker and you can also see the hunger, the energy he brings. I’m really excited to have him with the team.

“He’s only trained a few times, but you can already see the quality, the energy and the willingness.”

    IcFootballnews Says…

In that ARSENAL attack, Gyokeres could score more than 50 goals again in the coming season, he really is one of the best forwards in the world and a man that many Gunners fans are excited about.

He will surely bang in 30 goals this coming season

    ARSENAL TOLD SIGN KLUIVERT

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool have been urged to sign AFC Bournemouth attacking midfielder Justin Kluivert in the summer transfer window, who was impressive in the Premier League last season.

Kluivert shined for the south coast club in the Premier League last season, producing 12 goals and six assists in 34 top-flight games for the Cherries.

Bournemouth are reported to have placed a £43M price tag on the 26-year-old star, who can also be deployed as a winger and has previously played for Ajax and Roma, and Rene Meulensteen is convinced his Dutch compatriot would ‘thrive’ at Arsenal or Liverpool.

‘I’m surprised that Justin Kluivert hasn’t had a huge transfer,’ Meulensteen told Grosvenor Casino about the Netherlands international, who is the son of Patrick Kluivert and under contract at Bournemouth until June 2028.

‘I wondered if Arne Slot would have a punt on him because he is versatile, he is quick and has developed really well.

‘He has come so far and is very effective, I could see him thriving at Arsenal or Liverpool.

‘Maybe not with Manchester United, they already have Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes, but I think Kluivert has done really well.’

    IcFootballnews Says…

Kluivert was decent last season, he is at a club that plays him every week and at a very good level, a move to Arsenal and Liverpool would give him more money, the chance to play a few games, but also keep the bench warm.

Arsenal and Liverpool have very good squads and adding Kluivert to the side would just be to add depth, it would not be a good move for the Dutchman to make.

And to be honest, if they wanted to sign the player, they would have done it by now

  • Chelsea transfer news: Petrovic – Eze

    [ad_1]

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Eberechi Eze, Djorde Petrovic and Joao Felix that we think you guys may have missed..

There has been some stunning reports in the media which have claimed CHELSEA have held talks with Eberechi Eze’s agent over a possible move to Stamford Bridge, as they seek to hijack Arsenal’s potential move for the attacker.

Now Simon Phillips has reported on his Substack that CHELSEA have held new talks with the midfielder’s agent. Eze has been linked with a move to Arsenal recently but a move to north London hasn’t materialised yet.

Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed that he would be surprised to see Eze at Palace next season – he told icfootballnews: ‘I would be very surprised to still see Eze at Palace for next season.

“Michael Olise has already moved onto Bayern Munich, so that will have addressed any financial concerns the club may have had and the funds raised from his sale has helped the club bring in some new faces, but Eze now has a taste for the very top of the game.

“Arsenal are the latest side to join the race for Eze – but Eze is a London boy and would love to stay in the Capital rather than move up to the likes of Manchester United

“I think he’s definitely good enough to play for one of the bigger clubs in the league, and i believe he could break into that starting side at the Emirates or Stamford Bridge.’

    PETROVIC LEAVES CHELSEA

Chelsea have now announced on the club website that Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has joined AFC Bournemouth on a permanent transfer.

CHELSEA have been splashing the cash alot over the past few months and have already spent close to £150 million on new players, as they seek to close the gap on Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool before the start of next season.

    GETTY IMAGES

However – there are also a number of players at Stamford Bridge that are probably no longer needed at the club, and that means there will be opportunities for players like Petrovic, who have not made much of an impact at Stamford Bridge.

Newly promoted Sunderland are among the clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old this summer, who was one of the standout performers in Ligue 1 last season during his loan spell with Strasbourg, but the Cherries made their move to get a deal done and now he has left Cheslea.

The Blues posted on the club website: ‘Petrovic joined Chelsea from New England Revolution in the summer of 2023 and the Serbia international made 31 appearances in his first season with the Blues.

‘The 25-year-old spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at RC Strasbourg, where he made 31 appearances for the French club.

‘We want to thank Djordje for his efforts in blue and wish him well for the future.’

Andoni Iraola’s side had Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea last season, making 31 appearances in the Premier League, but he’s sealed a permanent move to Arsenal this summer, leaving the Cherries on the hunt for a new goalkeeper

    IcFootballnews Says…

This move to CHELSEA was never really going to work out for the player, it has been a waste of a few years of his career, he has taken a massive step back from where he was at before he joined the Blues.

This is a good move to make as Bournemouth are a very good side.

    JOAO FELIX TO LEAVE

It has now been claimed that CHELSEA will open talks for the sale of Joao Felix, with reports in the media suggesting that Benfica are very keen to take him back to Portuguese football.

The Evening Standard states Chelsea are preparing to kick off their summer clearout, with Joao Felix in talks over a possible return to Benfica. Felix is not in Chelsea’s long-term plans, with the club’s hierarchy keen to offload his high wages and pursue a permanent sale rather than another loan spell.

The 25-year-old is a target for Benfica, where he started his senior career. He is eager to reunite with former Wolves manager Bruno Lage, who is now back in charge at the Estadio da Luz.

Lage previously played a key role in Felix’s development, managing Benfica B and later coaching the first team during the early stages of the forward’s senior career.

    IcFootballnews View…

It was a massive shock to see CHELSEA make the move to bring Felix back to the Premier League, he was not a success first timer around and has been just as bad this time around, the January window was an opportunity for the player to leave and get the minutes that he wants and needed.

He is a quality player that adds so much to the side, but with all the attacking options that Enzo Maresca now has at the club, there is no need to keep Felix on the books and letting him go is the right decision.

This move away makes sense as he is far too good a player to be sitting on the bench, and a move back to his homeland could help reignite the career of a player that was once tipped to become one of the very best.
