Liverpool Prepare Late Bid for Marc Guehi

    [ad_1]

Liverpool are reportedly gearing up to make a late move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi as uncertainty grows over Ibrahima Konaté’s long-term role at Anfield, according to Football Insider.

Reds Keen to Bolster Defence Before Window Closes

Liverpool have already enjoyed a productive summer, landing Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz, and Jeremie Frimpong. But while attacking and wide areas have been reinforced, the club is still eyeing defensive upgrades—particularly at centre-back.

With Jarell Quansah departing and Konaté’s future under review, manager Arne Slot wants added stability at the back. The club remains unconvinced by Konaté’s inconsistency and injury record, despite his contract running until June 2026. There’s also speculation he could be sold if the right offer arrives.

Marc Guehi: Premier League-Proven and Up for Grabs?

Marc Guehi has developed into one of the Premier League’s most reliable centre-backs since joining Crystal Palace. The 23-year-old was pivotal in Palace’s surprise FA Cup win over Manchester City and continues to impress with his consistency and leadership.

Statistically, Guehi averaged 4.6 clearances, 4.3 recoveries, 1.8 tackles per game, and won 60% of his duels last season. He also maintained a passing accuracy of 84%—a key trait for a defender in Liverpool’s system.

His contract runs until 2026, but with the defender eligible to sign a pre-contract abroad by January, Palace may consider selling now rather than risk losing him for free.

£50m Price Tag Could Be Negotiable

Liverpool reportedly value Guehi at £40 million—£10 million shy of Palace’s asking price. However, with the clock ticking on the transfer window, both clubs could find a compromise.

Joe Gomez remains the only senior backup to Virgil van Dijk and Konaté, and given his own injury history, Slot is pushing for an additional high-quality option. Guehi fits the bill perfectly: Premier League experience, defensive solidity, and age on his side.

  • Spurs considering ambitious move for Rodrygo

Spurs considering ambitious move for Rodrygo

    [ad_1]

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing an audacious swoop for Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes as they brace for life without Son Heung-min.

According to AS via Sport Witness, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is lining up the Brazilian international as the ideal successor to their long-serving captain. With Son reportedly set to leave this summer, the North London club are keen to bring in a marquee name—and Rodrygo fits the bill.

Son Set to Depart, Spurs Eye Star-Powered Replacement

Son Heung-min’s potential exit marks the end of an era at Tottenham. The South Korean talisman has been a fan favourite and a consistent performer, but recent developments suggest he’s ready for a new challenge. His departure would not only leave a void in the squad but also free up around €11 million per year in wages—giving Spurs some serious financial flexibility.

At just 24, the Brazilian has already lifted Champions League and La Liga titles with Real Madrid. But with competition for places fierce under incoming boss Xabi Alonso, Rodrygo’s future at the Bernabéu looks increasingly uncertain. That has opened the door for Tottenham to make their move.

Daniel Levy Ready to Break the Bank

Tottenham have reportedly held previous talks with Rodrygo’s camp, who are demanding a €10 million per year salary. Real Madrid, meanwhile, are expected to seek a fee of at least €90 million.

While Rodrygo had initially turned down a move to North London, the equation might now change. Arsenal and Liverpool—previously linked—have reportedly cooled their interest, leaving Spurs in pole position to strike.

Spurs Face Crunch Time in Transfer Window

With Thomas Frank now steering the ship, Tottenham are working hard to reshape their attack. Mohammed Kudus has already been added, but Levy wants more firepower—and Rodrygo is now their top priority.

Time will tell whether Spurs can pull off what would be one of the boldest moves of the summer. But with Son’s legacy looming large, Tottenham need a big name. And Rodrygo could just be the man to take up that mantle.

  • West Ham Step Up Chase for Jacob Ramsey But Face Aston Villa Resistance

West Ham Step Up Chase for Jacob Ramsey But Face Aston Villa Resistance

    [ad_1]

West Ham United have ramped up their pursuit of Aston Villa’s versatile midfielder Jacob Ramsey — but a summer move is far from straightforward.

According to Give Me Sport, both West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the 24-year-old, who has become a hot property thanks to his adaptability and experience in the Premier League. However, any move could prove difficult, with Ramsey reportedly committed to staying at Villa Park despite increased competition for places.

    Ramsey’s Rise at Villa

A product of Aston Villa’s academy, Ramsey has steadily developed into a key squad member since breaking into the first team. Despite injury setbacks and squad rotation under Unai Emery, the England youth international has racked up over 150 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 19 assists.

His ability to operate in multiple roles — central midfield, attacking midfield, and even out wide — makes him a valuable asset. That same flexibility has now made him a target for clubs seeking depth and dynamism in midfield.

    West Ham and Spurs Circling

West Ham are actively looking to refresh their midfield options. With Carlos Soler returning to PSG after a disappointing loan and Lucas Paquetá’s future uncertain, the Hammers are eyeing Ramsey as a long-term solution. The futures of Tomas Soucek, Edson Álvarez, James Ward-Prowse, and Guido Rodríguez also remain in question, adding urgency to their interest.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are in the market for a utility midfielder who can adapt to Ange Postecoglou’s fluid system. Ramsey fits the bill perfectly and is seen as an ideal squad player with room to grow further.

Player Loyalty Could Be the Stumbling Block

Despite strong interest, the major obstacle remains Ramsey’s own stance. The 24-year-old is reportedly not looking to leave Aston Villa this summer, and manager Unai Emery views him as a crucial part of the club’s future.

Unless there’s a dramatic change of heart, both West Ham and Tottenham could face disappointment in their pursuit of one of the Premier League’s most promising and versatile midfielders.

  • West Ham United Plot Summer Swoop for Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma

West Ham United Plot Summer Swoop for Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma

    [ad_1]

West Ham United are reportedly plotting a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma, as they look to bolster their midfield options ahead of the new season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness, the 28-year-old Malian international is on West Ham’s radar, with the Hammers eyeing a deal in the €15–20 million range — the fee Spurs are said to be demanding.

    A New Chapter for Bissouma?

Bissouma arrived at Tottenham in 2022 from Brighton with high expectations but has endured a mixed spell in North London. While he’s racked up over 100 appearances, consistency has eluded him, and Spurs are now reportedly open to parting ways. Juventus have also shown interest in recent months, but their pursuit appears to have cooled — opening the door for West Ham to make their move.

    Why West Ham Want Him

West Ham are in the market for a midfield enforcer following Carlos Soler’s underwhelming loan stint and amid uncertainty surrounding the futures of Edson Alvarez, Tomas Soucek, and James Ward-Prowse. Bissouma, with his proven Premier League experience and ball-winning abilities, ticks many boxes for the East London outfit.

What makes the move even more appealing is Bissouma’s familiarity with London life and the English top flight. The transition would likely be smooth, which is crucial for a West Ham side aiming to make a stronger push in the league next season under Julen Lopetegui.

A Smart Deal on the Table?

Tottenham’s reasonable asking price makes Bissouma an attractive option. At €15–20 million, he could represent excellent value for a club like West Ham looking to strengthen without breaking the bank.

With transfer dominoes beginning to fall across the Premier League, this is one potential London switch that could gather momentum quickly. Keep an eye on this one — Bissouma to the Hammers might just make perfect sense for all parties involved.

  • West Ham weighing up move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz

West Ham weighing up move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz

    [ad_1]

West Ham United are reportedly pushing hard to sign Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport via TuttoJuve.

The Brazilian international previously enjoyed an impressive five-year spell in the Premier League with Aston Villa, having joined from Manchester City in 2019. Luiz made 204 appearances for Villa, registering 46 goal contributions and playing a pivotal role in their qualification for the UEFA Champions League—a first for the club in over 40 years.

However, after his move to Juventus, things haven’t gone as planned. The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under both Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor, sparking speculation over an early exit from Turin. A return to England now looks increasingly likely.

According to the report, West Ham are “determined” to bring Luiz back to the Premier League. New manager Graham Potter is said to be a strong admirer of the midfielder and believes Luiz could be a key figure in his rebuild at the London Stadium.

The Hammers are in active negotiations with Juventus, who are open to a sale. The proposed deal would include an initial loan with an £8 million fee, followed by a mandatory buy clause worth between £21–25 million based on certain performance-related conditions.

Douglas Luiz is reportedly open to the move, with the promise of regular first-team football and a leadership role at West Ham seen as highly attractive.

Why Douglas Luiz Is a Perfect Fit for West Ham

Luiz brings a mix of technical quality and steel to midfield—ranking highly across key metrics such as tackles, interceptions, progressive passes, chance creation, and high turnovers during his previous Premier League tenure.

Following a disappointing campaign last season, West Ham need midfield reinforcements who can lead by example. Luiz offers not just experience and ball-winning ability, but also the mentality and presence to galvanise a squad that struggled for identity and consistency.

If the deal is completed, Douglas Luiz could be exactly the kind of signing West Ham need to spark a new era under Graham Potter.

  • Everton Plot Ambitious Move for Douglas Luiz Return

Everton Plot Ambitious Move for Douglas Luiz Return

    [ad_1]

Everton are gearing up for a bold summer swoop to bring Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz back to the Premier League, this time to Goodison Park.

According to Calciomercato, the Toffees are ready to test Juventus’ resolve with a move worth around €40 million for the 27-year-old. Luiz, who shone brightly during his time at Aston Villa, has struggled to find his rhythm in Turin—and a return to England could be just what he needs to reignite his career.

    A Proven Premier League Performer

Luiz’s pedigree in the Premier League is unquestionable. During his spell at Villa Park, he established himself as one of the division’s most complete midfielders—blending grit, control, creativity, and defensive discipline. If Everton get this deal over the line, they’ll be signing a midfielder capable of transforming their engine room.

While his time at Juventus hasn’t hit the expected heights, the Italian giants appear open to a sale, and Everton are monitoring the situation closely.

    Everton Mean Business

After a string of underwhelming campaigns, Everton are desperate to climb the table—and signings like Douglas Luiz show serious intent. With manager David Moyes returning and already laying solid foundations, adding a player of Luiz’s calibre could be a major step forward.

They have the financial muscle to pull this off, but the big question remains: can they convince Luiz of their ambitions?

    Back Where He Belongs?

A return to the Premier League could be ideal for Luiz, who was once regarded as one of the league’s standout midfielders. At 27, he’s entering his prime—and Everton could offer him the perfect platform to rediscover his best form in familiar surroundings.

If the Toffees can seal this move, it might just be the midfield upgrade they’ve been crying out for.

  • Leeds United eye move for Callum Wilson

Leeds United eye move for Callum Wilson

    [ad_1]

As Leeds United gear up for their return to the Premier League, Daniel Farke is keen to inject experience into his frontline—with free agent Callum Wilson emerging as a top target.

Callum Wilson Linked with Bosman Switch to Elland Road

According to TBR Football, Leeds are exploring a Bosman transfer for the former Newcastle United striker. Wilson, 32, is keen to continue competing at the highest level and is in no rush to commit to a new club as he weighs his options carefully.

Wilson recently parted ways with Newcastle following the expiration of his contract at St James’ Park. Despite struggling with injuries last season, the England international still boasts a strong Premier League pedigree and is being courted by several clubs. While interest from Everton surfaced following Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s departure, Leeds are now believed to be preparing a serious offer.

    Leeds Seek Premier League Know-How

With survival the clear objective, Farke is targeting players with top-flight experience. Wilson’s proven goalscoring ability and leadership could offer Leeds exactly the edge they need. His desire to play a leading role—rather than serve as a backup—makes Leeds an attractive proposition, especially with guaranteed minutes likely on offer.

In addition to Wilson, Leeds are also reportedly monitoring Newcastle midfielders Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock. The strategy is clear: build a core of players familiar with the pace and demands of the Premier League.

A Smart Move for Both Parties?

For Wilson, a move to Elland Road could provide the ideal platform to extend his top-level career in a central role. For Leeds, his presence could be invaluable—both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

Should a deal materialise, Wilson’s experience and eye for goal might prove to be the difference between survival and another relegation battle.

Newcastle submit bid for Manchester United target Hugo Ekitike – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United’s search for a new striker has been dealt a fresh blow.

After missing out on Liam Delap to Chelsea early in the summer, United showed interest in signing Sporting CP talisman Viktor Gyokeres.

Despite enjoying a transformative stint under Ruben Amorim, Gyokeres has given priority to Arsenal, who have reached an agreement in principle with the Portuguese outfit for the Swede’s transfer.

Victor Osimhen is also admired at Old Trafford but the Napoli man is seemingly returning to Galatasaray, who are prepared to meet his astronomical wage demands.

In June, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming United have entered the race to sign Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt. However, since then, the Red Devils have made little progress in their pursuit.

Newcastle trying to win Ekitike race

Now, Fabrizio Romano reports that Newcastle United have submitted an official bid for the French striker.

It is claimed the Magpies’ proposal is higher than €70 million – a figure previously offered by another club this summer.

Eddie Howe’s side are understood to be “pushing to get the deal done” for the sought-after 23-year-old forward after securing the signing of ex-United talent Anthony Elanga.

The former Paris Saint-Germain man has emerged as one of the most well-rounded number nines in Europe, having notched 22 goals and 12 assists across all competitions last term.

United could settle for a low-cost option

Ineos are currently focusing on their negotiations with Brentford, as they look to strike a deal for Bryan Mbeumo.

The Cameroon international’s signing would take United’s spending past the £100m mark. As such, they are expected to insist on sales before making a move for a new striker.

Amid their financial predicament, the Mancunians have been offered a number of free agents, including ex-Newcastle star Callum Wilson.

  • Tottenham Hotspur Eye Move for Fulham’s Antonee Robinson – Football Views

    [ad_1]

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a summer swoop for Fulham’s dynamic left-back Antonee Robinson, according to BBC Sport journalist Sami Mokbel.

The 27-year-old American enjoyed a breakout season in the Premier League, notching up 10 assists and 5 clean sheets in 36 appearances, helping Fulham secure a solid mid-table finish. His performances didn’t go unnoticed, with several Premier League clubs taking note — including Liverpool. However, the Reds opted to sign Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth instead.

Spurs Join the Race for Robinson

Speaking on the LWOS YouTube channel, Mokbel confirmed that Tottenham are now showing strong interest in the USMNT defender and could soon make a formal approach to bring him to North London.

Robinson, under contract with Fulham until 2028, won’t come cheap. He’s currently valued at £30 million, and with the Cottagers in no rush to sell, Spurs may have to dig deep to get their man.

    A Tactical Fit for Spurs?

With Destiny Udogie firmly established as Spurs’ first-choice left-back, and Ben Davies ageing and struggling for regular game time, Robinson could offer both immediate quality and long-term stability. Djed Spence has also been used on the left but is naturally a right-sided player.

Given Tottenham’s return to Champions League football, squad depth will be crucial. Robinson’s speed, energy, and attacking flair down the flank make him an ideal fit for Thomas Frank’s high-tempo system.

    What’s Next for Spurs?

While a move for Robinson would bolster the defence, Tottenham are currently focused on strengthening their attack. Talks are reportedly progressing over a deal for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus, who is high on Frank’s wishlist.

Still, a move for Robinson remains firmly on the radar — and if Spurs do make a formal bid, this could be one of their most savvy signings of the summer.
