  • Arsenal on Alert as Real Madrid Open to Selling Rodrygo Goes for £86m – Football Views

    [ad_1]

Arsenal’s summer rebuild could get even bigger, with reports suggesting Real Madrid are prepared to sell Brazilian star Rodrygo Goes before the transfer window closes.

According to TBR Football, Los Blancos have set an £86 million asking price for the 23-year-old winger, giving Mikel Arteta a potential opportunity to add another elite attacker to his squad. The Gunners have already made six signings this summer, but a seventh—specifically a left winger—has not been ruled out, with Rodrygo firmly on their radar alongside Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.

    Premier League Interest Heating Up

Arsenal are not alone in the race. Manchester City are also strongly considering a move for Rodrygo following Jack Grealish’s £50m switch to Everton and with Savinho now a top target for Tottenham Hotspur.

Rodrygo underlined his quality in Madrid’s recent pre-season clash with WSG Tirol, finding the back of the net in a comfortable win. While he remains part of Xabi Alonso’s squad for now, his long-term future could hinge on how much game time he receives in the coming weeks.

    August Could Decide His Future

Real Madrid have three La Liga fixtures remaining in August, and the role Rodrygo plays in those matches could be decisive. If Alonso sees him as a key figure, the winger may stay and fight for his place. But if his minutes are limited, a late-window switch to the Premier League becomes increasingly likely.

Despite limited involvement in certain competitions last season, Rodrygo’s camp has consistently maintained that he is happy in Madrid and willing to compete for his spot—unless the club directly signals that he is surplus to requirements.

    Arsenal Watching Closely

For Arsenal, the opportunity to sign a versatile, Champions League-proven winger like Rodrygo would be a major statement. His pace, dribbling, and goal threat could provide the perfect balance to Bukayo Saka on the opposite flank, giving Arteta another weapon in the title race.

With the window closing soon, this could turn into one of the biggest late-summer transfer stories—especially if Arsenal and Manchester City decide to go head-to-head for his signature.

  • Fabian Ruiz not expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain anytime soon as Ligue 1 side open contract extension talks – Man United News And Transfer News

Fabian Ruiz not expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain anytime soon as Ligue 1 side open contract extension talks – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United’s are on the lookout for a midfield playmaker this summer, following the departure of Christian Eriksen.

Which explains the recent links with Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Davide Frattesi, both of Inter Milan.

Another midfielder the Red Devils are reportedly interested in is Fabian Ruiz of Paris Saint-Germain, following his impressive season last time out in which the Ligue 1 giants clinched the Champions League.

The 29-year-old can play both as a defensive midfielder as well as a No.8 as part of a midfield pivot, with the Spaniard registering six goals and 11 assists in the previous campaign.

Fabian Ruiz linked with United move

Such a creative presence, who can provide both silk and steel in the middle of the park, is exactly what Ruben Amorim is crying out for.

Apart from the 20-time English league champions, Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are also keeping tabs on the Spain international who has two years left on his current deal.

The Peoples Person had even relayed that INEOS were preparing a mega offer for him, but CaughtOffside have now poured cold water on United’s hopes of landing the midfield maestro.

Luis Enrique considers his compatriot as unsellable, and has communicated the same to the board.

PSG, aware of the increased interest, have no intention of parting ways with Fabian Ruiz, and have instead opened talks over a new long-term contract.

“The summer transfer window is heating up as Manchester United and Al Nassr have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz, sources close to the agent industry have informed CaughtOffside.

PSG to initiate new contract talks

“Despite the growing interest, PSG are standing firm on their stance. Head coach Luis Enrique considers Fabian an integral part of his plans and has already communicated to the club’s hierarchy the importance of retaining the midfielder.

“PSG are not only unwilling to let Fabian leave but have also opened talks to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2027, further demonstrating their commitment to keeping him in Paris.”

It seems the player’s agent has done a commendable job, forcing PSG to come to the table regarding an improved deal, something Ruiz must have been looking forward to at this stage of his career.

Whether Cristiano Ronaldo’s club or INEOS test the Parisian side’s resolve before the window closes remains to be seen.

  • Real Madrid open sellling Rodrygo to Chelsea

    [ad_1]

It has been claimed in the media once again that Real Madrid will be open to letting long-term CHELSEA and Arsenal transfer target Rodrygo leave this summer, if they receive the right offer.

Rodrygo has scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists in 50 appearances this season, but Tension has been building between the Brazilian and Real with the winger unhappy with his role in the team with his relationship with his teammates deteriorating significantly.

The former Santos starlet, who joined Real for €45million in 2018, is ‘angry’ with his diminished role and it has been claimed that he would be open to leaving the Spaniards over the next few months, with reports suggesting that he believes he has played his last game for Real.

Now, according to AS Madrid could be willing to part ways with the Brazilian forward if a substantial offer arrives. The ultimate decision, however, will rest with both Rodrygo and new head coach Xabi Alonso, who is reportedly scheduled to speak directly with the player soon.

However, It was claimed Real will be demanding a fee of €100million (£85m) for the player, and he will also look for wages around the £300k-a-week mark.

    icfootballnews says…

Rodrygo has been world class for a few seasons, he is playing at Real and scoring the goals that big time players should be scoring, but his time at the club is probably coming to the end as the Spaniards look to keep on improving the side.

However – Arsenal and CHELSEA do not really need to splash the cash and add another winger to that attack, they already have a number of players that can do the job that Rodrygo does and we are sure that a move to the London clubs will not happen.

If he does leave Madrid, it could be for a move to Saudi Arabia or PSG, that would suit his style of football.

INEOS tighten their wallet as Ruben Amorim forced to open his ahead of Europa League final – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Manchester United have a big clash against Chelsea in the Premier League, but as crucial as their trip to Stamford Bridge this Friday might be, most fans have their eyes firmly set on the UEFA Europa League final.

United’s league form has been worrying — they have struggled to maintain their competitive edge for most of the season. They are winless in their last seven league games, with five defeats and two draws, and there is very little excitement among fans surrounding their clash with Chelsea.

Interestingly, United’s struggles have not extended to their Europa League campaign. They have been relentless in Europe, going unbeaten in 14 matches this season, with nine wins and five draws.

That impressive run has secured them a showdown with Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final on May 21 at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao.

With United on the brink of European glory, one might expect the club to spare no expense for the occasion. However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s budget cuts have affected the final preparations. Club staff will not receive complimentary tickets for the showdown in Bilbao next week.

Ruben Amorim appreciates staff amid INEOS Europa League final cost cuts

The co-owners have reportedly decided to ensure most of the club’s 15,000 allocation goes directly to fans.

While winning a major trophy like the Europa League is a prestigious achievement, many find it disappointing that the club has not tried to reward its staff, those who work behind the scenes to help the team reach such moments.

Paris Saint-Germain, for example, are sending 600 staff members to Munich for their Champions League final against Inter Milan on May 31.

With no club-funded tickets available, United staff have been left to cover their own costs should they wish to attend. However, according to ESPN, manager Ruben Amorim has stepped in with a classy gesture — personally sponsoring his backroom staff for the trip to Bilbao.

When he joined United, Amorim brought several of his trusted coaching staff from Sporting Lisbon, and he has now decided to fund the travel expenses for his support team, including lower-paid members, as a sign of appreciation for their commitment to his project.

“Ruben Amorim has paid for 30 of his Manchester United backroom staff to take their families to next week’s Europa League final in Bilbao, Spain, after being told by the club that his coaches, physios and support team would have to pay for their own tickets, sources have told ESPN.”

Upon learning about the club’s decision not to provide staff tickets, the Portuguese coach reportedly informed United officials that he would cover costs for his team, ensuring each member could bring up two friends or family members to witness the final.

With Amorim’s gesture, one cannot help but think—not all heroes wear capes. Now, all that remains is for the team to rise to the occasion, dispatch Spurs, and bring European glory back to Old Trafford.

If they do, perhaps INEOS will regret not backing their staff for such a monumental night.
