Chelsea transfer news: Amagou – Williams

    [ad_1]

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer talk from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Noni Maduake, Mathis Amougou and Nico Williams that we think you may have missed….

CHELSEA have now agreed to let Noni Maduake leave the club this summer and make the move across London to join rivals Arsenal, who will be paying in excess of £50 million for the talented winger.

The 23-year-old recorded 16 goal contributions in 41 games in all competitions last season, but has been linked with a surprise £50million move to Arsenal.

Chelsea have been doing alot of transfer business over the past few weeks and after bringing in Joao Pedro from Brighton, the Blues are looking to free up some space in that attack, if you believe all the reports in the media.

Now – an agreement has now been struck, Fabrizio Romano reports, with Chelsea accepting Arsenal’s offer which is in excess of £50million with add-ons included.

Madueke will now sign a five-year deal to become the sixth player to swap Stamford Bridge for the Emirates during Mikel Arteta’s reign in north London.

    IcFootballnews says…

Maduake was one of the most impressive players for Enzo Maresca last season, so the news that he could be leaving the club this transfer window has come as a big surprise to many Blues fans, and many Gunners fans

Mikel Arteta likes to keep on improving the squad, but adding another winger to the side makes no sense at all, they have a number of players like Maduake in the side, and adding the winger would just take away money they need to sign a new striker.

Maduake may have to leave CHELSEA in order to further his career, especially with all the new faces that have been signed this summer, but the fact that the Blues are letting him go just shows that they will take any offer for their players.

Some Blues fans will not be happy about this departure

NICO WILLIAMS MOVE TO BE MADE?

There has ben some fresh reports in the media which have claimed that CHELSEA will reignite their interest in signing Nico Williams this summer window after they agreed to let Noni Maduake join Arsenal.

Madueke will now sign a five-year deal to become the sixth player to swap Stamford Bridge for the Emirates during Mikel Arteta’s reign in north London

And once that deal goes through and Maduake makes the move to the Emirates, reports have claimed that Nico Williams is a player that Chelsea are ready to make a move for at some point this transfer window.

Nico Williams is one of the most talked about wingers in the game right now and is a player that have been linked with some of the games biggest clubs because of that £48 million release clause.

CHELSEA have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for the past few weeks as it has been claimed on numerous occasions that Enzo Maresca is a massive fan of the Spanish star and is ready to pay big money to get a deal done.

Interest from CHELSEA over a deal for Williams has dyed down towards the end of the last transfer window as Williams’ apparent preference to stay in Spain, but according to rumours – the Blues, along with Arsenal and Barcelona, are willing to meet his £48million release clause,

    IcFootballnews View…

Nico Williams is a brilliant attacker that would be a brilliant addition to that Blues side and to be honest – we believe that CHELSEA would be getting a game-changing player if they manage to secure a deal for the man.

So if Chelsea replace Maduake for Williams, it will most certainly be an upgrade for the Blues.

    AMAGOU DEAL ANNOUNCED

Mathis Amougou has left CHELSEA and completed a permanent transfer to Ligue 1 club RC Strasbourg, the Blues have now announced on the club website as they decided to let the lad leave the club.

The Blues posted on the club website: ‘The France Under-20 international joined the Blues from Saint-Etienne in January and made his Premier League debut against Southampton the following month.

‘Amougou featured in our Conference League campaign and was part of the matchday squad for our triumph over Real Betis in the final in Wroclaw.

‘We wish Mathis every success as he begins a new chapter in his career.’

He will hope to fill the hole in the Strasbourg midfield left by Andrey Santos – who has returned from his loan to Chelsea – and Habib Diarra, who has made a big money move to Sunderland.

An official fee has now been announced, but it is suspected it will be almost exactly the same as the £12.5m we paid for Amougou 6 months ago.

    IcFootballnews says…

Chelsea have a number of talented players that either have to leave the club or get used to be sent out on loan all over Europe in order to get some game time and a chance at a professional career.

Mathis Amougou will certainly be very happy about this move as he will hopefully get more of a chance than he has been at Chelsea, it is the best thing for the lad to do and the right thing for CHELSEA to let him leave.

So even though the lad would have loved to try and become  a Chelsea player, this is the right move to make and one that will hopefully reignite his footballing career.

Brandon Williams has been offered a lifeline by former Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – Man United News And Transfer News

    [ad_1]

Brandon Williams’ career has not gone as he would have envisioned when he first broke through at Manchester United back in the 2019/20 season.

Under the guidance of former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the 24-year-old made 50 appearances out of his 51 in a red shirt.

But off-field problems have threatened to derail his nascent career, with the defender without a club since leaving his boyhood club in the summer of 2024.

His last competitive appearance came back in December 2023 for loan outfit Ipswich Town, but that could all change if The Daily Mail are to be believed.

Solskjaer offering Brandon Williams a lifeline

Solskjaer, who is currently in charge of Besiktas, is ready to offer a lifeline to the former Carrington graduate.

Talks have taken place over a move to Turkey which would see the pair reunite after two seasons together in Manchester.

“Former Manchester United full back Brandon Williams is an option for Ole Gunner Solskjaer at Besiktas.

“Williams has stated his intention to restart his football career after he was handed a two-year suspended jail sentence for dangerous driving back in May.

    Talks have taken place

“The 24-year-old, who also played for Norwich City and Ipswich Town, earned his big break under Solskjaer at United and initial talks have taken place over a potential move to Turkey.”

The former England U21 international can play as a right-back or left-back, and has one goal and two assists to his name from his time in Manchester.

Hopefully, the Englishman can put his troubles behind him and restart his career in earnest, and what better way than to play under the manager who gave him his first break in senior football.

Staying away from the spotlight in England and from harmful elements could do him a world of good and finally allow him to focus on his game.
