Man United have already made their decision on Kobbie Mainoo as winter exit links persist – Man United News And Transfer News

Word on the street is that come the winter transfer window, Kobbie Mainoo will once again ask to leave Manchester United.

Towards the end of the summer window, Mainoo requested a loan move.

The United midfield prodigy anticipated he would not play a key role under Ruben Amorim and wanted to join a club where regular game time was guaranteed.

With this being a FIFA World Cup year, the 20-year-old’s sole focus was earning a place in Thomas Tuchel’s England Three Lions squad.

United blocked the loan request, insisting he had a key role to play. But that promise has not held up.

    From prodigy to peripheral

Behind Bruno Fernandes in the pecking order, Mainoo has struggled for minutes.

Of the 900-plus minutes United have played this season, he has featured in just 207, a frustrating return for a player once hailed as the brightest talent to emerge from the academy.

From key man to squad player, Mainoo might feel his World Cup hope is slipping away.

However, he can revive that dream if he pushes for a move in January.

    Top clubs keen

Several top clubs are already circling. Napoli are pushing hard to reunite him with Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund in Naples, while Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the situation closely.

As speculation builds around a potential winter exit, transfer guru Pete O’Rourke has dropped a bombshell.

    INEOS already have their answer

While Mainoo dreams of a season-defining move in January, O’Rourke, via Football Insider, reveals:

“Manchester United don’t really want to let Kobbie Mainoo leave.

“They blocked any move from Mainoo, and I would imagine they would look to do the same in January because he probably will be needed by United for this season in case there’s any injuries or anything else.

“They’ll be confident that they can keep all of them, and I don’t think they’ll be willing to let such a talented player like that leave United when they probably need all their best players to help Ruben Amorim have a successful season.”

    Tricky situation

Hopefully, things change. Hopefully, Mainoo earns his place in Amorim’s line-up between now and the winter transfer window.

Because if he continues warming the bench, United’s No.37 may have no choice but to agitate for a move.

INEOS might believe they have already mapped out how to handle the Mainoo situation this winter, but it will not be as straightforward as they think.

Imagine United still blocking that move, leaving him to stagnate on the bench; he misses the World Cup.

Mainoo may never be the same after that.

  • West Ham Set Sights on Vitor Roque in Ambitious Winter Swoop

West Ham Set Sights on Vitor Roque in Ambitious Winter Swoop

West Ham United are reportedly ready to make a bold statement in the winter transfer window, with a €40 million offer lined up for 20-year-old Brazilian sensation Vitor Roque. According to Fichajes, the Palmeiras striker has caught the attention of the East London club, who are eager to add fresh firepower to their attack.

The Hammers are prepared to splash the cash to bring Roque to the Premier League — a move that would see the former Barcelona forward get another shot at European football. After rediscovering his form in Brazil, Roque is said to view the Premier League as the perfect stage to showcase his talent and reignite his European career.

The Rise and Revival of Vitor Roque

Once hailed as one of Brazil’s brightest prospects, Roque’s dream move to Barcelona didn’t quite go to plan. Limited opportunities under Xavi Hernández and a short loan spell at Real Betis left his development stalling. However, his return to Brazil with Palmeiras has completely transformed his fortunes.

Now back to his best, the 20-year-old has registered 13 goals and four assists in 31 appearances across Serie A and the Copa Libertadores this season — form that has reignited interest from top European clubs. West Ham are among those leading the chase, seeing Roque as a long-term investment with immense upside.

A Premier League Adventure on the Horizon?

David Moyes’ side have been on the hunt for a reliable striker despite signing Callum Wilson earlier this year. With Niclas Füllkrug struggling to find form, the Irons are now ready to turn to Roque — a player with pace, power, and a keen eye for goal.

At just 20, Roque fits the profile of a dynamic forward who could grow into a Premier League star. The player himself is reportedly open to the move, describing England’s top flight as an “exciting and competitive” environment.

With West Ham prepared to meet Palmeiras’ €40 million valuation, London could soon be calling for Vitor Roque — and the Premier League might just witness the next big Brazilian breakout.

  • Man City eye winter swoop for PSG star Bradley Barcola

Man City eye winter swoop for PSG star Bradley Barcola

    [ad_1]

Manchester City could reignite their interest in Bradley Barcola this winter, with Pep Guardiola still keen on bringing the Paris Saint-Germain star to the Etihad. Reports from Fichajes suggest that City remain firmly in the mix and may explore a January approach after initially targeting the French winger in the summer.

Back in August, Guardiola wanted fresh firepower out wide, but complications around a deal for Barcola meant progress stalled. City were linked with a host of wide forwards, including Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and their own rising star Savinho, who drew strong interest from Tottenham. Ultimately, Guardiola opted to keep Savinho, but Spurs are tipped to return with a bid in January – potentially reopening the door for City to chase Barcola.

Rodrygo Off the Table, Barcola Back in Focus

While Rodrygo was heavily courted in the summer by Arsenal, Liverpool, and City, the Brazilian decided to stay put in Madrid. With that move looking unlikely before next summer, Guardiola could pivot his focus back to Barcola, a player he sees as a perfect fit for City’s attacking system.

The 23-year-old France international offers pace, flair, and versatility – qualities that would enhance Guardiola’s tactical options. However, landing him won’t be straightforward. PSG made it clear during the last window that Barcola was not for sale, and with no financial pressure to sell, their stance may remain unchanged in January.

    Tough Deal, But Not Impossible

Manchester City certainly have the resources to test PSG’s resolve, but whether the French champions entertain offers in mid-season is another question. While a winter swoop looks complicated, Guardiola could play the long game, lining up a more realistic move for Barcola next summer.

For now, City fans can expect plenty of transfer chatter – but whether Barcola trades Paris for Manchester in January remains a big doubt.
